  1. Oh I see. So, in short, we need to wait for Nvidia to release an update, meaning there isn't really anything you can do until then (except what you already tried, using an older version). Then, I think you should just watch the release of that new version of that patch and stop wondering with this for now You should add a message to first post about that situation.
  2. Holiday with family first! ++++1 I wonder if limetech could help? That is a great addition to Unraid and benefits them for sure. @jonp any comments on the issue that LinuxServer.io team is facing on the latest version of Unraid with runc?
  3. @Randall8686 In short, for me, EMBY = Superior backend, options, etc., but Web Player & apps = sh*t. It's why I tolerate PLEX drawbacks in the options regarding to transcoding. My dream would be that the 2 company merges and create a PLEXBY or EMPLEX with best of both
  4. You both added the check in the plex server settings to enable hardware transcoding?
  5. If you check the first column, you can then uncheck the one in the middle. I don't know if it actually is working.
  6. Just there (in first Line starting with docker exec) : "#!/bin/sh\nexec /usr/lib/plexmediaserver/
  7. Be aware that the 1660Ti requires driver 419.17+, and the Unraid Plugin is at 410.78, and the Slackware source is at 418.x ,so you'll have to wait for : 1. Slackware to update to 419.17+ 2. LS.io to update the Unraid NVIDIA to have that version.
  8. You welcome. Looks like i'll have to update my script to add the "exec" too. Thanks for testing it.
  9. Did you create the DECoding patch too? if you just enable hw transcode, the CPU is still decoding. With the "workaround patch", it also hw decode instead of CPU decode. There is some drawback to the workaround, but i find it very good for now.
  10. Yes, inside the script "Plex Transcoder", change it to : #!/bin/sh exec /usr/lib/plexmediaserver/Plex\ Transcoder2 -hwaccel nvdec "$@"
  11. Someone on the plex forum said to add a "exec" command in front of the /usr/lib..., this way it will correctly call the Transcoder2 and kill it after. I didnt try yet, might be a solution.
  12. Was this already tested? Seems fine from what I read in here.
  13. Yes I understand that really well. I was replying to the other person that ask when it will be ready because rc5 was out. I totally agree with "it will be released when it will be ready"!
  14. You welcome. But, i'm not in their team, so I don't know if they plan to release it today or later. I suppose they will also update the driver to latest available (?).
  15. Recently, like an hour or two ago ? 🤣 I think someone from LinuxServer.io said that it take hours to compile when releasing a new build.
  16. I think it will be the same. Im also using official Plex Inc Docker.
  17. @captainnapalm go check on Plex forums. Windows PMS doesnt use NVENC/NVDEC for HW transcode and doesn't use as much as vram/transcode. You cant really compare them.
  18. The only way I could see is if your script does a docker command to enter in the docker and then run commands Inside.
  19. i'm pretty tired of the Ubiquiti Networks new releases breaking everything. It use to be straitforward, you install latest .deb, then it is updated. Now, there is issues with MongoDB versions, etc. Also, I only have 2 camera, one is not supported anymore (the original UVC-micro) and the new Micro G3. I created this docker to have a quick setup for NVR, but the updates breaks it almost at every release. I'm tempted to buy the CKGen2+ and just call it a day. Is the latest Camera are also Wi-Fi ? I can't get Ethernet everywhere I want a camera. Never saw Protect either, is it good?
  20. Yes it does, but its a workaround until plex adds it officially. It just force the decoding switch to the Transcoder. I think that if the docker is updated, you have to reapply it after.
  21. I Agree. Im very impress so far with this anyway . My aging e3-1240v3 is now at only 10-15% usage with HW transcode while before, it was hitting 90-100% all the time.
  22. Yes it came out after your build. When rc5 will be out, I suppose you will use this version. Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk
  23. Yes I know. I thought that new big feature also would drive the update release. (like supporting a whole new Nvidia family - Turing). I don't need it myself, so I don't really care
