  1. Looking for a little advice here. I had a 6 TB drive that I replaced with an 18 GB drive. However, because the 6 TB was formatted as reiserfs, when I swapped them, I got a bug with the 18 GB. Reading on here, indicated that it was because reiserfs didnt work with 18 GB. So I changed it to xfs. I still have the old 6 GB as an unassigned device and I want to copy all of the data over to the 18 GB so parity is good and I can continue with my changes. My question is how exactly to setup the paths within the docker container to get them to work right. I watched a video and got the unassigned devices up with this: But I am unsure how to configure the new disk. I know the Host Path is /mnt/disk2/, but what about the access mode? I also assume once its all configured right, it should be pretty simple just to copy all contents from the 6 TB to the 18 TB? After that, I want to do a parity check and then move over a different 6 TB that is still part of the array onto the 18 TB. How should that be configured? THanks.
  2. Can anyone provide some insight into this? I would appreciate it. Thanks.
  3. So I am looking to do something very similar to this thread and I just want to make sure I am interpreting it correctly. I want to retire all 3 6 TB disks and replace them with the 18 TB and 12 TB disks. So I believe my order of operations is. 1) Replace 1 6 TB disk with the 12 TB disk, rebuild from parity. 2) Replace 1 6 TB disk with the 18 TB disk, rebuild from parity. 3) Use unbalance to move data from the final 6 TB disk to the 18 TB disk. ChatNoir said "use the New Config tool to rebuild parity with only the drives you want to keep (we can discuss this later)" This is the piece I dont understand. Any clarity is helpful. Thanks. kayla-diagnostics-20231207-0813.zip
  4. I am having issues with this application. I am trying to get data from an ambient weather station (WS-2000) into grafana for visualization purposes. Here is what I have setup. 1) https://github.com/neilenns/ambientweather2mqtt This was installed via CA 2) I also installed mosquitto from CA (the cmcambridge repo) I believe that this is working fine. I can see logs from mosquitto showing the weather station publishing 3) I installed this grafana application. But no data ever gets into it from the weather station. It appears to be hitting mosquitto, but data is not returning. In fact, I dont see that it has actually subscribed in the logs (I am new to MQTT, but it seems like there should be something? I have tried all wildcards and other various things, but I also get an empty query response I have attached screenshots of the log from mosquitto as well as from the data sources tab in grafana. I appreciate any guidance.
  5. I got a weather station and want to push the readings to a local server. I believe I can do this with this https://philosowaffle.github.io/ambientweather-local-server/ (I have an ambient weather station). I have followed it as best as I can and I have the container "up" in unraid. I put that in quotes because I dont think its really up. When I click on logs, its empty. I cant see if the ports are getting hit (they should be, the station is configured to send data to 192.168.4.28:8001). I have only used containers from community applications before, I have never tried to setup something outside of it. I have attached diagnostics and would appreciate any guidance I can get. kayla-diagnostics-20230805-1122.zip
