CHBMB, i've sent you a PM. Doing what bonienl suggested did actually work, i went to the config and just did a save and the BTsync container went online. But running a 'check for updates' again gives those same errors as i posted earlier.

I formatted the unraid5 flash in windows pc and setup the unraid6 files on the flash. So, yes a clean install of unraid6 not upgraded.

It was a clean install from v5 to v6. Does XFS have some real advantages over RFS? From what i read i dint find much advantage unless you used freenas as the OS due to the way freenas works?

I did not format the drives, just installed unraid6 and selected the drives as parity,cache and data disks. I think they are RFS for data drives(not sure). I never had the container config tab in unraid6 AFAIK. As far as reinstall is concerned should i just format the flash and put a fresh copy of unraid6? Delete the docer.img manually?

I am running Version 6.0-beta14b. Docker.img is on my cache drive. I dont think i have that tab anywhere?

Sorry for not posting enough info, the log is full of errors from when i try to 'check for updates' on the dockers. From the last time we chatted here fixing the transmission error yesterday i havent done anything else. Just booted up the server now and tried to check for updates and got those error. - Yes i did reboot the system 2-3 times. - This image shows the dockers i have installed and you can see how it shows 'not availble' under the version tab for each. - This image shows the BTSync docker setup info. - BTsync docker wont boot up anymore. - Even though Dropbox and Deluge version number is shown as 'not available' they work fine.

I've attached the log file with errors while updating the docker templates (checking for updates) Can you take a look and see what is wrong please? log.txt

Have you had experience configuring BTSync? I have set the paths in the container: /config to /mnt/cache/apps/btsync /backups to /mnt/cache/backups however i can add the 'backups' as the location for backup of my iPhone but the iPhone never gets backed-up. It's just stuck at 'sending' Also, when i try to check for updates of the dockers, below in the GUI it throws up an error: Warning: preg_match(): Empty regular expression in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/dockerClient.php on line 145

thank you VERY VERY much, its fixed now. What i did was set the download path in the transmission webUI to /mnt/cache/downloads as well instead of //downloads that's why i used to give the error. Files downloading fine now

I set the download path in transmission setting (in the transmission GUI) to download to /mnt/cache/downloads so it starts to download however in a few seconds it stops and the error in the torrent details says: Status: Permission denied: /mnt/cache/downloads/abcd.mkv/abcd.mkv

Cache drive security setting is set to 'public' and export setting is set to 'yes'

Thing is the drop down list does not show any 'downloads' folder under 'cache' disk. its only available under /user/downloads or /disk1/downloads

I created a share named 'downloads' set it to cache disk only, then in transmission setup i am unable to find the Downloads folder anywhere. It does appear under the Disk1 though, but thats not where i setup the share to be. What i am doing wrong here?

TBH is find v6 MUCH more better and amazing. The built in features are amazing and love the Docker! been playing all night with different docker. I installed owncloud but haven't looked much into it, been trying the fix the transmission download DIR error

I added a few repositories and then i just started setting up the Apps i would need the most, Transmission being the first, moving on to BTsync & owncloud. Transmission got installed however popped-up with the error so i posted here, attached is the screenshot requested.

Hi, I just started playing with unraid 6 as someone on the forum suggested it would be better i used unRaid 6 then 5, as it is my new setup. I installed transmission docker however i am unable to download files using transmission, the download starts but comes up with a download location error. I tried to set it to /mnt/cache/apps/transmission/downloads but it does not work. what am i doing wrong here? thanks

Hello, Is it possible to add a new user to unRaid but with only limited share access? Say i want him to be able to not access a certain DIR in my share? Or access to only a few folders etc Thanks

Can you link me to a Openvpn plugin file which works with unRaid? The one in the unRaid wiki has a lot of users giving mixed opinion as to if it works or not?

And when you access the server you get complete access like you would get with RDP/VNC ? Or just FTP/HTTP server access? (sorry havnt used a VPN ever so the million questions)

I just want to clear one thing, if i setup VPN on my router or setup a OpenVPN server on the unRaid server, i would need to use a OpenVPN client on another PC before i can login to the unRaid server right? If so does your iPhone need an app as well to connect to the server?
