  1. Hi guys - my monthly parity check finished this morning with some warnings. **** Event: unRAID array errors Subject: Warning [MBFS01] - array has errors Description: Array has 2 disks with read errors Importance: warning Disk 21 - WDC_WD40EFRX-68WT0N0_WD-WCC4E1419057 (sdb) (errors 1772) Disk 22 - ST3000DM001-9YN166_W1F0ZLEC (sdf) (errors 114) and also Event: unRAID Disk 22 SMART health [187] Subject: Warning [MBFS01] - reported uncorrect is 1 Description: ST3000DM001-9YN166_W1F0ZLEC (sdf) Importance: warning ********* I don't want to replace those disks as I have plenty of room on the array on some newer drives. Am I correct in thinking I need to do the following. 1 - Move the content of those to drives to a new drive which has plenty of room. 2 - Stop the Array 3 - Do Tools new config. 4 - Remove the drives I am no longer using. 5 - Re configure the array. 6 - Start the array and let is build the new parity for the array which no longer has those drives. Thanks in advance! Stuart

  3. I love the support thread s- I too am having this issue! Have I missed an update? Cheers Stuart
  4. I just tried a fresh install and I'm seeing this same error. The container is not built so all I can do is try again with different settings. Please help. Check your Plug-ins are up to date
  5. Check for plug-in updates fixed it for me
  6. Thank you :-) I missed it after updating the other plugins had just fallen off the bottom of my screen!
  7. Hi guys, I just tried to update deluge vpn - wasnt paying attention and I noticed that it had dissapeared. Strange I thought - manually reinstalled it - reset it up but then got this error ***** root@localhost:# /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/scripts/docker run -d --name="binhex-delugevpn" --net="bridge" --privileged="true" -e VPN_ENABLED="yes" -e VPN_USER="vpn username" -e VPN_PASS="vpn password" -e VPN_REMOTE="nl.privateinternetaccess.com" -e VPN_PORT="1194" -e VPN_PROV="airvpn" -e ENABLE_PRIVOXY="no" -e LAN_RANGE="192.168.0.1-192.168.0.254" -e TZ="Europe/London" -p 8112:8112/tcp -p 58846:58846/tcp -p 8118:8118/tcp -v "/mnt/cache/appdata/deluge":"/config":rw -v "/mnt/cache/downloads":"/data":rw binhex/arch-delugevpn Unable to find image 'username:latest' locally Pulling repository username Error: image library/username:latest not found The command finished successfully! ****** Help please :-)
  8. I wondered if it was a permission thing as backups also do not work - to get the key in I edited the config file manually. Cheers Stuart
  9. I feel embarrassed to ask..... Where can I pull the config from?
  10. HI guys - 2 quick questions :-) 1 - How can I tell the docker that I set the web ui to use a different port (specifically 8585) - I had to do that to get it to register my license key (well I think I did and it worked) 2 - Now the kids are using it so heavily I want the auto back up feature to work, but it doesn't any ideas? Even if I run a manual backup then nothing gets saved - I wondered if it was a permission issue? Cheers Stuart
  11. Dockers every time. It is as simple as finding it and installing it (depending on your net speed a 10 minute process) then mapping config to /mnt/cache/appdata/deluge in the gui and then mapping data to /mnt/cache/downloads You can then either manually grab it and move it or use another docker to - for TV shows as an example you could use binhex sonarr for this map config to /mnt/cache/appdata/Sonarr data to /mnt/cache/downloads/ media to /mnt/user/TV Shows/ With those 2 - Sonarr would identify yoru tv episodes tell deluge vpn to download it - then when it has downloaded move it to your TVshows share. easy peasy and all with lovely web guis.
  12. Just a quick biit of feedback - pfsense box in and working absolutely painless took about 10 mins and then included having to change the IP range it came shipped with and my router - so that all the devices stayed on same ip range. The nice thing is I can also stick another DSL conneciton on to double bandwidth.
  13. Just to feedback - after coming back home after a few hours it had displayed that error message a number of times and then had started.
  14. Hi guys, hope you can help. Came downt his morning to find I could not access unraid :-( Couldn't ping it, access web interface or any shares. Pulled up the KVM interface which let me log in and thought wierd a quick reboot will sort that out. So rebooted it via the console and then it wouldn't restart gets to the point shown below then just hangs. Really grateful for any help - I am not sure if relevant or not but last night see the log was 100% full. Cheers Stuart
  15. This is more an alternate suggestion - why don't you just install EMBY as a docker, which handles a DB install for multi KOdi Clients along with auto meta data downloading, multi users for watched tracking parental controls etc? I use EMBY as the back end - along with a couple of KODI clients runing on Chrome Boxes, plus some EMBY clients running on amazon Fire TVs.
  16. I took a huge pay cut to setup my own company, so I would be around for the kids more - that was three years ago and it all worked out great!
  17. I got this - http://linitx.com/product/linitx-apu-1d-4gb-3nicusbrtc-pfsense-msata-firewall-kit-black/14244 It is the more powerful 4GB version which I figured would give me more flexibility for VPN etc etc From what I have read that enough grunt to cope with an infinity or Virgin connection at full speed. IF you dont care about VPN etc - the cheaper one is http://linitx.com/product/linitx-alix-2d3-lx800-3nicusb-pfsense-firewall-kit-black/14132
  18. it is :-) - just means it is EVEN more in negativity equity now - besides she will never spot a little box ;-)
  19. Thanks for the feedback - just ordered myself a little pfsense box! Let's see how that works..
  20. dont think so have a Billion 7800 DXL - currently using that software to track it on my windows desktop - but would be much nicer to have it running 24/7 on the unraid server. I am loath to spend more on a new router after my unraid server build! The boy toys fund is in serious negative equity ;-)
  21. So - due to my stupid council :-( we are going to get a bandwidth capped fiber product. Capped @ 200GB I am pretty positive my household uses more than that - 3 kids and youtube along with TV downloads on sky. I found this - http://www.s446074245.websitehome.co.uk/configuration.html - wondered if anyone could dockerise it? Happy to throw some donations into the pot. Cheers stuart
  22. Your router is a much better vehicle to update your DynDNS IP. Client is build into every one I have ever had.
  23. Hi guys - I have an issue with minidlna - essentially that when you add a multi artist album - it shows the album multiple times for each artists. This seems to have been recognized and fixed as bug - https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=734383 I just wondered if the current version had the big fix in? Thanks Stuart
  24. It's not related to bridge mode. The AP doesn't know where the controller is unless you have your DHCP server specifically set up to issue the controller address as an option in the lease. Normally you would use the UniFi discovery tool to find the AP and tell it the IP of the controller, but the UniFi dockers don't have the discovery tool as it is a separate app. To get the AP to show up in the controller so it can be adopted and provisioned, do the following: Determine the IP the AP was leased SSH to that IP Login as ubnt / ubnt mca-cli set-inform http://address:port/inform (where address is IP of controller and port is the port you are using for inform, default is 8080) Once you run the set inform command it should show in the controller. As soon as you click adopt you need to run the set inform command a second time on the AP. EDIT: Syntax correction Thank you so much for that bit of advice! I notice that when you have one attached to the controller via this method - it then finds the rest!
  25. sooo I went through this myself recently and this is what I came up with,. 1 - for my documents, set up Crash Plan to auto backup the appropriate shares / files. 2 - for the flash drive I manually stop the array whenever I do a change (pretty rare) and want to back it up then I back it up before restarting. Haven't had to test 2 recovery but 1 works a treat. Stuart
