  1. I got a notification that there was an update to my Sonarr docker container. I clicked update. It downloaded the files without issue. When it came time to stop the docker container, it hung. Now my container has a version not available, and I cannot do anything to it. If I try to delete it , stop it, update it, or start it, the webUI hangs for a while and nothing happens. I have attached a screenshot. I am not sure how to remove and recreate the container. I would hate to lose my config. I am not familiar with docker ssh commands. Not sure what I can do from here.
  2. Thanks. I left a post in the LE forums and they said support for this card should be coming in the next release so I will wait for that. Thank you for your help. Much appreciated.
  3. Thank you for your suggestions. I will reboot the server and try a latest build. I was using the pre-packaged template 7.0.1. I guess if I use a newer image I need to create a linux VM? Correct. There's a guide here to install not using the template. The guide is for openELEC but the steps are the same: https://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=44683.0 well, good news bad news. I get video out on latest Librelec linux Vm install. Bad news I am getting an Failed to start Xorg server error. I guess this more than likely a Librelec Problem and NOT a passthrough or unraid problem?

  5. I have installed an nvidia 1050ti GPU into my Skylake i7-6700 system. I have set my primary graphics card as IGFX in the BIOS. I had to enable ACS override to isolate the GPU. I then created a Librelec VM and passed through the GPU but I cannot get any video at all when connected to my TV via HDMI. I deleted the VM and then passed through the GPU to my windows 10 VM and it worked without problems. I removed the GPU form the windows machineI then tried to create an OpenElec VM instead. I was able to get video out but it gave me this error " failed to start xorg server". I really don't know where to go from here. I need to run Librelec because my end goal is to have a Plex Media Player VM with this GPU. Any suggestions? Thank you
  6. Supported on 6.3-rc http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=53003.0 Thank you for your reply. Looks like I completely missed the pre release forum. I kept looking in the announcements for news on 6.3. Sorry about that. Sent from my STV100-3 using Tapatalk
  7. Hello. Is there an update on IGD passthrough? Will it have to wait for 6.3 and will not be included on 6.2.x given it would be a new feature? Also any progress on skylake? I would like to use IGD for a plex media player VM. If skylake is not possible I would probably add in an nvidia 1050 given it is not too expensive. Thanks. Sent from my STV100-3 using Tapatalk
  8. Try reducing the vcpu count to one do the update then switch back. Hi, I was also having this problem and followed your suggestion and I was finally able to install the update, so just wanted to say thanks.
  9. Updated and everything working well. I had to recreate my docker image but that went smoothly. One question about VMs. I have 1 Windows 10 machine that I had created in 6.1.9. It worked fine after the upgrade. I was surprised that I did not have to do the post-update VM procedure as it booted to windows right away, but then I noticed it was a Seabios machine. Is there an advantage for me to use OVMF instead for this VM? I am not well versed on the difference. Initially I installed the VM using the video guide from limetech. Thanks for the great work. I love my unRaid server.
  10. Well, since no one replied, I took a stab and got one of these cards off Ebay for pretty cheap (59$). I cross-flashed it to LSI IT/ firmware. I connected an old HDD that I had kicking around to one of the SATA ports and fired up UNraid. 1) The drive attached to card shows up in my list of drives that I can assign to the array. 2) I see this in PCI Devices in the GUI under tools-->System Devices. 02:00.0 Serial Attached SCSI controller: LSI Logic / Symbios Logic SAS2008 PCI-Express Fusion-MPT SAS-2 [Falcon] (rev 02) 3) I see this under system logs: May 30 21:40:15 Servername kernel: mpt2sas0: LSISAS2008: FWVersion(20.00.07.00), ChipRevision(0x02), BiosVersion(00.00.00.00) Does it seem like I am good to go? I could not really test the drive further (other than see it as assignable) since I didn't pre-clear it, nor do I really want to leave it in the array. I just wanted to make sure that the SATA card worked and was supported. If so, pretty happy with the purchase for the price.
  11. I have room for 4 more drives in my case, but I am out of SATA ports. This card seems like the perfect solution for me. It has 4xSata ports, plus seems to have 1xSFF-8088 external connector that I could connect to an external cage. It seems to be LSI SAS2008 based so I think that it should work. Does anyone know if it would need to be flashed with special firmware? Also, I am not sure how the external ports work. Would I be limited to only 4 external drives? Here are the specs: https://lenovopress.com/tips0776-6gb-sas-hba UPDATE: These seem to be rebranded LSI 9212-4i4e. Still not sure if they are compatible Thanks
  12. The VM image is a sparse file, and only uses whatever space is occupied inside the VM. Be careful you don't accidentally run out of space, whatever you copy to the VM disk will occupy additional space on the cache drive. Ok, so if I understand correctly, when I tell the VDISK to be 75GB it doesn't actually reserve the space for the VM? Any unused space is available to anything writing to the cache drive? Yep. From the VM's point of view, there is 75GB of available space, but until the VM actually fills that space, it's still available on the cache drive. If this behavior is not what you want, you can force the image file to take up the full amount of space. Thanks for clearing that up. How do you force the image to take the space?

  14. Hi, I have a 480GB SSD as my cache disk. I have a windows VM & a few dockers running on it. My vdisk share is marked as Cache Only. I recently increased my VDISK size form 25GB to 75GB. This shows up fine in the VM tab as well as within Windows. When I go in the main tab however, my cache disk shows only 47GB used even though my docker is 15GB and my VM is 75GB. I can't quite figure out why that would be. Any ideas? I am running 6.1.9 Plus
  15. Thanks, I looked at this setting ,but it was already off.
  16. I am having problems with logs. CP is filling up 4 or 5GB of logs and is filling up my docker image. Has anyone experienced this? How can I stop this. I have been manually deleting the logs but is there an option to somewhere to deal with this?
  17. Was working great in 6.1.7, but since the upgrade it doesn't work. I cannot even delete nor disable Pushbullet.
  18. Hi, I have read this thread but I still cannot get paired properly. I created a 2 line text file called iPad.Remote. The first line is the name of the iPad, and the second line is the 4 digit pin given by the app. My music directory is currently empty. I followed this procedure: Here is how I have been successful. 1. Try pairing with a very small library or wait until the daemon scans everything. I have 40,000+ songs and that initial scan takes a while. 2. Start the daemon with no .remote and let it finish scanning. 3. Start the iPhone remote app, choose add library and then get the code. If you are running avahi-browse you should see it show up. 4. Prepare a .remote file in your home directory and move it into the library... I think that the temp file when editing directly in the library may confuse things... Then delete the .remote file in the library... However, I am still getting this error in the logs: Remote 'iPad' not known from mDNS, ignoring not sure I what I am doing wrong. If I do manage to get it paired, do I have to create an actual iTunes library in there from the iTunes app on my PC? or Do I just have a bunch of directories organized with my music? I guess album art won't work with this etc?
  19. Thanks for the help. I have made downloads Cache only. And I enabled my post processing to use the cache drive. I ran through a full download/post process and everything works as desired. The only thing I was worried about is the cache drive filling with whatever leftover files were left and not post-processed. I suppose I can manually look and empty the directories from time time. After testing everything I am finally getting the hang of how shares, movers, and paths work. Thanks everyone.
  20. Please help me in understanding paths. I have installed Couch Potato, Sonarr & Nzbget. All can talk to each other fine and handle post-processing. I am just not sure I have an optimal setup with the way I have set up the directories. NZBget Mappings: /config /mnt/cache/appdata/nzbget/ /downloads /mnt/cache/downloads/ Couchpotato Mappings: /config /mnt/cache/appdata/couchpotato/ /downloads /mnt/cache/downloads/ /movies /mnt/user/Media/Plex Media/Movies/ Sonarr Mappings /tv /mnt/user/Media/Plex Media/TV Shows/ /downloads /mnt/cache/downloads/ /config /mnt/cache/appdata/sonarr/ /dev/rtc /dev/rtc Shares: downloads Location: Cache Use Cache Disk: No Media Location: Disk 1 Use Cache Disk: No appdata Location: Cache Use Cache Disk: Yes So as of now Sonarr/CP send the download to NZBGET, and once they finish, they seem to process send the file to either the TV or Movie directory which are on the array. I am not sure this is optimal. Would it be better for the Mover to move the files at night, once per day? I changed the downloads share settings Use Cache Disk to Yes and the Mover moved the subdirectories (downloads/inter, downloads/dst, downloads/tmp, downlaods/nzb) over to the array and they no longer existed on the cache drive and therefore broke everything. How should my mappings & cache setting be setup up to work with mover properly so that the post processed files get moved at night to the array by mover without breaking my config? Thanls
  21. Thanks for the help. Do I have to preclear the drives 1 at time or can I do them concurrently? Do I also preclear an SSD cache drive?
  22. I will be setting up an Unraid server for the first time. I plan to use Docker Apps, mainly for Plex Media Server. I have tried to read as much as I can but I still have some questions: Is there a process I must follow in a certain order to get my data on my array? I have about 5TB of data (mainly media files) to transfer to the array 1) Since I will have a 256GB SSD cache drive, Do I wait to enable the cache disk until after I have transferred all of my data? (It is my understanding that otherwise, I will have to wait for MOVER and will have to transfer data in smaller chunks) 2)I have read something about pre-clearing drives. Is this something I need to do? 3) Is it better to wait to enable parity until after I transfer the data? I am will be to be patient for the transfer. I will also be keeping data on my original PC for a while until everything is running smoothly. Thanks!
