How do I stop and restart the docker without getting an Execution Error? After this the docker starts but then gives a connection error when I launch the WebGUI. Please advise Thanks

Thanks to all who viewed this. I happened to check the device designations and noticed that the sg0 had changed to sg12. I entered the correct values, ripped a few DVDs then I got this error in the WebGUI.

I've been up and running for some time... I ripped about 30+ BDs without issue but when I started ripping some older DVDs, the discs will not load. I pulled the Drive from Unraid and connect to my laptop runnig Xreveal and it ripped to .ISO just fine. Is there a setting that might correct this?

Ha! I tried "reboot" It worked and I can connect. Doing a shut down to grab diagnostics.

looks like the diagnostics went to the USB boot drive. Is there a command to do a clean shutdown from the local console? I'll then grab a copy, restart and post. Also, I was able to connect from the Unraid Connect App. The system is online and running with 2 of 3 Docker Apps Installed and started.

I just completed upgrade from 6.12.13 to 7.2.2 and converted all my drives to XFS. The only issue I had were my Docker Containers. PLEX and Roon Server were recovered via adding new templates but MakeMKV would not run. I left things alone for a few hours and now I cannot connet to the WebGUI. The server is running because I can access all Shares and even play movies via PLEX. Please point me in the right direction Thanks

Hi All, I'm trying to get through an upgrade from 6.12.13 to 7.2.2. I have 8 disks totaling 50+ TB, as I move through the converting disks to XFS process MOVER left approximately 250MB of data with no errors in the log. Is this Ok? I've since selected XFS filetype and pressed Apply, but did not format. Thanks!

Figured it out...mapped to both sr0 and sg11. sg11 was the actual drive designation. I found that by running lsscsi -g in the unraid terminal and not the docker console. Thanks again

I ran the ISSCSI -g command but didn't get the last 2 columns showing the devices to expose. Am I approaching this correctly?

I'm on 6.12.13 I just found my Array stopped and offline. It appears to have been in that state since 11/16/2025. Can some one look at my log and let me know what the issue is? I looks like it was moving files between the Array and Roon Server? I have also been adding files for some time, approximately 700+ GB. Mover has not moved them to the array when scheduled or when I press the MOVE button on the MAIN Screentower-diagnostics-20251202-1754.zip Thanks in Advance

Hi Everyone! I'm new to this and MakeMKV has been excellent, allowing me to convert all my DVD Movies (already ripped) to Mkv for Plex. I also have several hundred DVDs remaing in my DVD Changer that I need to rip and convert. I'm using a portable DVD/BD Player. If I connect it to my Server how do I get MakeMkv to recognize it?

Answered both questions... I dont see where I can select multiple titles. I do see that I can rip directly to .mkv. Will try that next. I guess after the conversion I'll delete the video_ts folders

Thanks, I have it installed in docker and just converted my first file. It shows in Plex and plays! Can this do multiple titles or do I need to do individually? Can I rip directly to make mkv? Thank you for the replies!

Is this within UnRaid or something else? How are you using it?

Hello Everyone I'm completely new to this Docker and Plex. I have PlexPass and a somewhat new Unraid running 6.12.13. I've been ripping DVDs from my Sony DVD Changers for some time and just discovered that Plex does not play VIDEO_TS or ISO files. My box is pretty stout with 128 GB of RAM and an i3-13500 CPU. What are my options here? Can I do some sort of Encoding/Transcoding to get plex to recognize and play my ripped DVDs? Thanks

I'd love to get some support on this Docker Same issue as others, Server starts and is detected by the client. When I press connect it spins for EVER and does not connect. I thought I had it fixed by logging out of my Roon account and restarting the Server, this helped a bit. Log capture is below. Not date code so I cannot tell if its writing at the top or bottom Now, it just spins and nothing, This is my final attempt to get this working then...a different platform. This was one of my key motivations to rebuild my server 😞
