Still no update here seen... Does it take some time to appear? :-)

Same here. Tried it a couple of minutes ago, but no change. The broken version still shows as up-to-date.

Is there any cache that needs to be deleted?

  2. Got the same problem like b0mb.

Yesterday i have updated to the latest S3 Sleep Version. From that point on my unRaid does not go to sleep anymore.

Started the S3 Sleep debug it shows that there is ongoing activity on SDD.

In the main it shown spun down but with temps displayed.

I have also tried executing /usr/local/sbin/mdcmd spindown but the problem remains.

Anyway to revert back to the last version of S3 sleep?

  3. You find the forked-daapd.conf inside the config folder.

If it is empty the path in the docker config might be wrong or it is a permission problem. For example when you created the folder via terminal as user root and user nobody which runs the docker cant wright to that folder. Also the UID and GID looks messed up in the log. You should start from scratch and add the Container using Community Applications Plugin.

  4. Okay solved it by myself.

On unRaid you have to set ipv6=no in the forked-daapd.conf because unRaid does not support ipv6.

Maybe it would be a good idea to take that setting as default, because it is easier for most to enable it than to have a not working forked-daapd and have to search for that failure.

  5. Hi i just tried to switch from Sparklyballs daapd to the ls.io dappd but i wont come up sayin it could not bind to Port 3689.

These are the Log File entries which keep repeating. Any Idea?

  6. For me this is not fixed in unRaid 6.0.1.

I am using an Intel i5-4570T on a Gigabyte GA-H87M-HD3.

On stock unRaid the CPU running at something like 3,4GHz all the time. Doesn't matter if i check it from the WebGUI or the command line.

If i put the intel_pstate=disable into the syslinux.cfg the CPU clocks down to the min of 800MHz, without saving more than 1W compared to the stock unRaid. On the other hand the turbo does not work anymore. Even with full load the cpu does not go above 2.9GHz.

So the problem is not solved and it would be great if the guys at Limetech could have a look at it.

  7. Just wanted to say thank you for the Calibre RDP Docker.

Using Calibre over the network was always a pain.

Just played a bit with it, could it be that the Clipboard function is missing?

    No problem [emoji3]

Do you mean basic copy paste or is there a specific clipboard function in caliber that I'm not aware of?

If you're trying to copy and paste from your local computer or another browser window into calibre, I don't think that's going to work. I believe that's a limitation of most vnc or rdp systems. Although some have special workarounds or features that allow it. By default the local and remote clipboards are not shared.

For instance the vnc/rdp server used in this case (guacamole) allows you to copy things within the app which you can access by bringing up the side menu (ctrl+alt+shift). But I never really used it myself.

I tried to copy and paste between the clipboard of my host (Windows) and the Calibre docker using ctrl+v and the context menu. Also i tried thet guacamole menu you get when you use ctrl+shift+alt. Last thing i tried was using the Windows build in RDP client by forwarding port 3389, no luck.

That docker is a great idea, but i have many books where there is no online data to be scraped. I have to copy and paste it from variouls ressources.

  8. Is there a way to exclude the cache drive from the inactivity check via the Webinterface of the S3 Sleep plugin?

For now i modfied the script in /usr/local/sbin and set checkCache=no, but i doubt it will survive a reboot.

Also i have not found any setting for this in the config file of the plugin, modifying the option in that file also does not seem to be a solution because it get overwritten when a setting is change on the config page.

Docker seems to keep the cache disk up.

  9. Any chance there is an issue with the sleep plugin with the new release of 14b?  My server didn't shutdown last night as it normally does and the plugin is running.  I was wondering if it was related to array activity since I believe limetech changed how we report disk activity etc.

    Just checking

Friend of mine did a short test with 14b and Dynamix S3_Sleep and had no problems.

    Edit:

    Tested myself, no issues.
