  1. Could you also try set BIOS from AHCI to IDE, but ....... IDE support 4kn ?
  2. May be you need SAS controller, may be mainboard AHCI issue. But I cant confirm this can solve your problem or make trouble again.
  3. repair what ? Dont make change on that 12tb first, it may cause data loss.
  4. Suggest try BIOS set boot mode legacy only
  5. Pls try connect two 12tb include this one, just check have different or not.
  6. Problem looping, agree throw it out of window NOW
  7. For slow / pause issue with array member to member copy , it should be normal due to this kind operation and slow disk add to array. If member busy on self extend test, then worst speed also expect. For temperature raise much during copy, it should because 12TB disk sit between 2 working disk, as all temperature raise a lot so affect each other. I think all above was normal expect. ( or you may set default write method and check which got better result for different situation )
  8. Suggest not focus on 45c or 53c first. In fact 53c also normal for a 7200 He drive. ( mine was 5400 He disk ). You shoud focus the speed problem. I go to sleep first, good night.
  9. I mean the disk in USB dock ( actually was an enclosure with FAN ) FYR, my previous tower case also blowing with 14cm fan, but they running in ~1000rpm. If room temp 27c, then loading disk may got 53c.
  10. You mean disk on USB dock ? Not disk under Intel controller. One of my unRAID previous running with a 5-slot USB dock no such problem. No matter temperature or "pause" issue. Just little bit hot and all dock disks will wakeup once have any disk activity.
  11. It shouldn't relate in which slot of USB3 dock. Does Slot 1 or Slot 2 disk is part of array member. If those disk not a member ( i.e. under Unassigned device ) it won't got slow (pause). Pls focus why a read-only in stat graph.
  12. Also local disk to disk ? BTW, disk to disk will got slow speed was normal. Faster in situation without parity.
  13. I focus on why some period was read only without write. What actual copy operation doing ? SMB transfer file to array ? Array local to local ? If SMB transfer, what actual speed you got ?
  14. Go to "disk settings", change "Tunable (md_write_method)" to reconstruct write.
  15. Just got SG200 was the one have GUI and different from others. I also have Ubiquiti equipment, XG16 and ER4 but no AP, they just run.
  16. The 10G network use LC optical and all 1G was CAT5, they all in short just several meter. I have Cisco SG200-08 ( no SFP ), I like it much as rich useful feature. Nice, this important too. Thanks.
  17. Note, we spend those most just for fun. Today, I busy on make a 10g NIC work with unRAID, this NIC was a new try. It is Emulex Oce10102. I am not sure it work or not, but it just cost ~40usd (NIC + 2SFP+). Anyway, spend several hrs, it work good but hot. I also buy two 6gb SAS expander ~10usd each. All come from China, so happy and share.
  18. Right, 1 for parity largest need, I miss this.
  19. Just some feedback from my point of view, preclear was make heavy write load to disk, it may useful for loading old disk to check have error or not. So I won't do that on new disk. Those loading may have negative effect for the disk write head due to long duration loading. Besides, if you no need lot of capacity ( just 9.5TB ), why buy 3x 12TB at a time. From my experience, disk would degrade/die after some years no matter light or heavy usage. So I would buying just make and peroidic swap out age disk to be backup purpose.
  20. XHCI should work but failed at device side, XHCI driver update issue in 6.6rc1 ?
