Solutions

  1. djuniah's post in Server is running but webUI and SSH are not accessible was marked as the answer   
    Sorry, just realized that I never followed up to this.  In my original post i mentioned that "The display on the monitor doesn't show any errors and I can't seem to enter anything there with the keyboard."  So doing it directly at the machine was no help.  I ended up just crossing my fingers and hard rebooting the machine as I couldn't see any other way to get at it.
