  1. any word on a fix on this issue yet? I notice that with the new unRaid version 6.8.0-rc3 it still won't work...
  2. So, in the unbalance settings on the settings page, should I change it from 6237 to 6238?
  3. Having the same issue as well... unbalance wont run unless started from a command line... Also, I've been having this problem for a while now... unbalance is set to use port 6237, and yet when I try to open it using said port, it won't run... However, if I run it using port 6238, it works fine... Am I missing something here? I've attached image files and the log in the hopes this can be fixed... unbalance.log
  4. In regards to unbalance not working, this was your response: "Hi, checked the logs, there are several successful gathers, and towards the end of the log, some attempts that get flagged due to flag:(rsync: failed to set times on "/mnt/disk11/Media2": Operation not permitted (1)) Not sure what's the issue with that share (Media2), but for some reason rsync can't set times on it." I added the -O switch to the settings, Custom RSYNC Flags, and it appears to have solved the problem... Also, I've had an issue where the setup for unbalance specifies port 6237, but I can't get the plugin to work unless the web page I open uses ********:6238.... not a big deal, just weird....
  5. Log file as requested... unbalance.log
  6. I seem to be having an issue with unbalance... Whenever I run it to move files across my disks, it always ends with an error... After checking the disk the files were supposed to be moved to, I see it made the directory and sub-directories but there are no files within them. It doesn't matter if I use scatter or gather, I end up with the same error... I have tried deleting the .conf file, as well as uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin... unbalance.hist
  7. Does anyone have a fix for this issue? anyone?
  8. ummmm, so..... still no fix for this?
  9. I tried entering this from the monitor and keyboard connected to the server... the command "xrandr" typed in a terminal widow from within the GUI gives the following: "Can't open display" If I boot unRaid into the non-gui interface, the message I get is: "command not found" Also tried from a putty interface, same message: "command not found"
  10. Sorry, forgive the newbie, but how do I make FCP ignore any disk connected via USB?
  11. I'm not sure if this is the proper area to post this, but I'm getting this notice from "Fix Common Problems": Write Cache is disabled on disk1: You may experience slow read/writes to disk1. Write Cache should be enabled for better results. Post your diagnostics for other users to confirm this test and advise. NOTE: If this drive is connected to your server via USB, then this test and the fix may or may not work / be accurate as USB support for smartctl and hdparm is hit and miss Write Cache is disabled on disk12: You may experience slow read/writes to disk12. Write Cache should be enabled for better results. Post your diagnostics for other users to confirm this test and advise. NOTE: If this drive is connected to your server via USB, then this test and the fix may or may not work / be accurate as USB support for smartctl and hdparm is hit and miss Also notice the same information when checking Disk 11... All three drives are in external drive bays connected via USB 3. Including screen shot and diagnostics... rg-server-diagnostics-20190518-1524.zip
  12. Yes, I've tried different monitors... The connection from the on-board video on the server is VGA... Is there no fix for this?
  13. I have tried removing them... They are not the issue... The native gui is still too large... It's almost as if it has been zoomed to 200%... And it's not just the web interface, it's all of the GUI through the native interface... The root login, all the menu buttons: (Web Interface, Documentation, Terminal, HTop, Midnight Commander (the entire start menu).
  14. The pictures don't really show the scale, but the last 2 pictures show the native web interface... Image 4 is with the browser set to 100%, notice the logout, terminal, feedback, help, info and log buttons are missing and only become visible when I shrink the browser down to 30% (image 5).
  15. ummm… anyone? is there no way to change the native GUI?
  16. Changed Status to Open Changed Priority to Annoyance
  17. I do use a remote login to access unRaid... The gui there is normal.. However, there are times when I don't have another computer to remotely access unRaid, so I use the built in gui… The font/gui display has been overly large for quite a while now, and I just want to know if it can be fixed...
  18. This has been ongoing for the last several releases, I was hoping someone else would have noticed it by now.... The video output from my server's on-board video is way too large... When unRaid gets to the login (GUI) screen, after logging in, I have to decrease the screen size to the smallest possible zoom setting to see all of the screen... This is only in the native video output using the built-in Firefox browser, although the main unRaid login screen is overly large as well... rg-server-diagnostics-20190511-1523.zip
  19. > Each device (including the local) can have it's own font-size set via Display Settings. Try changing the font-size. I tried changing the font setting... It doesn't seem to help as it is the main log in page before I even get to the web interface... It is at least twice as big as the earlier version... When I open the web interface, it's so big I have to reduce it to 37% just so I can see the log off, etc options...
  20. The console font appears to have changed. In GUI mode with my monitor attached directly to the server, the web interface font is so large I have to reduce the screen to 30% to get the icons to appear for logoff, reboot, etc...
  21. I seem to be having trouble with shutting down unRAID properly... At times, it shuts down with no problems, other times, it won't shut down at all, it just sits on the web interface screen, and nothing happens... I am unable to determine what is causing this, and it has become an issue, as every time it doesn't shut down properly, it does a Parity-Check upon the next startup... The problem is intermittent... I have attached an updated diagnostics file... I have also read the post here in regards to this problem, and have made the suggested changes... It is still not shutting down properly... rg-server-diagnostics-20190317-2018.zip
  22. I've had this plugin showing "update" for a while now, but according to the details, it requires a "minimum Unraid version 6.7.0"... Is 6.7.0 coming soon, or is there a way to tell this plugin to stop telling me there is an update, when unRAID isn't even at v6.7.0 yet?
  23. ok.... unRaid is in the middle of a parity check, so it will be sometime before I can reboot.... I will post if it returns after a reboot...
  24. I got this message this morning: "Your server has detected hardware errors. You should install mcelog via the NerdPack plugin, post your diagnostics and ask for assistance on the unRaid forums. The output of mcelog (if installed) has been logged" I'm attaching my diagnostics as instructed in the hope that this can be fixed, and isn't serious... rg-server-diagnostics-20181227-0548.zip
