Hi, 1.) be not logged in 2.) click tools -> upgrade OS 3.) get redirected to login 4.) login 5.) you dont get redirected back to the "upgrade OS" wizard. I suggest to redirect back to whereevery you needed to login for?

Hi, so i did some support threads here descripting my crashes... we never had any clue why... because there are no usefull logs. (I have enabled "Mirror syslog to flash: Yes Copy syslog to flash on shutdown: Yes") But the latest lines are always complete useless. Is it possible to make unraid be more debug? Like so it logges more things? We can never fix this issue without any good hints what the problems are. This crash is probably the first in some weeks, btw. So it works weeks without problems or even months and then another completly unrelated crash, i even removed my gpu... to test if that is the problem... I have fritz.box and i did the suggested network changes, which help, but never complety got rid of it. TLDR - Unraid isnt stable (i think the latest working version was 6.10) since months, maybe years now for some part of your customers. I dont feel like there is effort to fix it finally? - Im using Fritz.Box (might have something to do with that) - Server doesnt restart of shuts off, it just freezes without any log, the display output is still root login...

OK. Now you can just extract the key out of ram. Thats what you mean? And if it were encrypted, you couldnt do that. But dont we have the same problem again, where comes the pw for the encrypted ram?

Yes, someone could enter while the server is not on, but then how do you usually start the server? you have to have some sort of password, physical, or an automated way to unlock it... right?

How would you do that? If you dont have the key, the server cant function. edit: ok where is the key stored to encrypt ram?

yeah if u have physical access, just dont turn off the pc and you have it anyway...

Dont know why that dir cache plugin is still online, it never helped me not spinning up drives

So i had 2 tabs open and in one of them i triggered the update process to 6.12.9 and in the other tab i removed a plugin, which made a complete mess (like the messages from the plugin show in the update process) in the end, it broke the update process. So if u cant do these 2 things together, dont allow it. Thanks.

To give some feedback, nearly a month later. I just had one ipvlan crash, the same sort like it was doing with macvlan. After that, nearly a month without any issues.

i looked thru github and this thread and some doc on unraids site.... what link i can give a dev to add his docker to community apps? Would be probably good to post that link somewhere visible

Are you the author for this thread tho? You have uncomplete instructions in your first post which makes it harder for ppl to get it startet.

But i see now i already suggestet that a year ago, also told him the config errors he made and its still there... so he just likes to "fix" the same problems over and over again - i guess.

Did u grant the docker higher rights? That was the only thing, besides config, for me, i got it today running...

by now i noticed it, to make it short, the question is, why higher rights? cant we just passthru the usb?

Is there any reason there is no pre configured variable for usb passthru? Or is that not needed? Or there is no mention in this thread, nor in the coral driver plugin, how to do that? shouldnt something liek this be direct in the template and or first page? Only mention i found is in the docker description i should give frigate admin, but cant the usb just be passed thru without higher privileges?
