I dont know, the graphs in web interface NEVER were correct for me, it always shjows SOMETHING, but its never nearly that what e.g. htop shows. Still in version 6.8. Since it was first introduced...

Forms based authentication
If you have set a root password for your server, upon boot you'll now see a nice login form. There still is only one user for Unraid so for username enter root. This form should be compatible with all major password managers out there. We always recommend using a strong password. We have auto-logout set to 1 hour. -

For me it was just caused by a windows 10 VM

Regress to 6.6.7 or make sure all appdata is on a cache drive.
Was this an answer to me?
Does the corruption only happens if not on cache drive?

I wonder why no docker (plex, radarr, sonarr, and many others) has this problem for me atleast, except the new storjv3 docker...
-
I posted here:
What can i do to help fix the problem? This docker (SQLite Database) like get corrupted in hours...
Never had problems with radarr, sonarr, plex or any other docker so far. -
I really tested many brands for wifi, and google was the best solution i tested, by far.
Like i said, at the end of the year i get 1gbits and then i will use a fritz box behind a unifi usg + with their wlan equipment, then this problems will be gone forever

And you can't just assign a static IP to Unraid and be done with it?
U think the mighty google wifi would allow that? hahaha (u can do that ofc, but no port forwarding or traffic statistic or anything then for you)
-
U need to do it in their crappy app, u can tjust change the mac.
Steps:
remove every ip forward for both ip addresses one by one
remove reserved ip for both devices
reserve both ips again
add every single port forward to the correct machine
and this all via app on mobile... u will have many errors and fails and need to start from scratch and or restart google app. If u just need good wifi, this is the best router ever, but if you want to do ANYTHING on your network, its just a scam.
At the end of the year, ill get 1gbits and will switch complete to fritzbox gear, like their router and their wifi extenter mesh thingys.
-
Thanks, the fix seems to work just fine. Back to 1% CPU instead of 10%
-
Thanks for the quick fix for my mac problem! Working fine.
-
How can i get the update? Or when is it ready? Thanks for quick fix.
I know my router sucks, it will get replaced by end of year.
-
if i had any normal netowrk solution this would be no problem, but since my whole network get managed by google wifi, all is sh1t.
I would need to reasing the 2 ip addresses and manual add all port forwardings again. (via app)
-
You dont understand.
And i dont know how to better explain.
The error is about the REAL MAC ADRESS of that board.
But in network.cfg i set the correct mac adress (which he is also using).
So he is using the provided mac adress, but STILL complains about his REAL mac adress (which he is not using)
So if i delete the network.cfg he will just use the mac of the board, which is the wrong one.
-
Hahaha, you fixed it.
I had it only set for run at array startup (which is also right, but i also need to run it at array stop ofc)
So thats fixed atleast. (tried restarting and no parity check came up, first time since years)
maybe you can help me with the network issue also? Thanks.

No, it's been like this for years.
Are you sure?
Then i dont know what changed.
-
Okay, so this behaivior got added some rcs ago, right?
I dont see this a usefull feature for EVERY unraid user. Not in every case a parity check is usefull.
But atleast i know now why its a unclean shutdown, becaue it cant unmount, but since i have the unmount scripts in place, theres nothing more i can do about it.
Please give us the option to disable automatic parity checks on "unclean shutdowns".
-
Fine, then please give me the option to disable these useless parity checks on forced shutdown.
-
The network error is a unraid bug, posted here
Both errors shouldnt create a unclean shutdown, correct?
That he cant unmount, is because im using rclone and unionfs. But after some trys, he can unmount and do a normal restart. So i dont see any problem.
Also i really just want to have the option to disable that behaivior.
Also you have a full syslog from 19:00 to 1:0 (where i initiated the restart). I cant see any error.

So you expect the disks to fail after 4 scheduled parity checks?
Ive uploaded the diagnostics, i cant see anything wrong, do you?
-
I just expect that unraid should not waste my drives. I dont know how many useless parity checks it did, which i didnt noticed.

What does that mean? If htop shows 1% and 5% and unraid always shows above 30 or 90% this cant be real?! For what its waiting when there is "nothing to do"
io wait should be when CPU is waiting for e.g. harddrive? But when its usage is under 1mb/s, there cant be a iotwait 90%, or do i think wrong?
