  1. Is there any way to use this with anyDVD or some other product like that? After I buy a bluray or DVD I want to rip it so it is available to my streaming devices and I generally can't do this without anyDVD.
  2. Great! Can anyone recommend a good inexpensive USB optical drive for unraid
  3. I have a bunch of DVDs that I would liek to rip to my server for use with plex. I noticed there is a MakeMKV docker. I have an old Lime Tech MD1100 server. Is there a good optical drive that someone could recommend that I could easily attach? Could I just get a USB optical drive?
  4. ok so now that we have that solved - I have one more lingering issue. when I download an episode of a show usign sonarr and deluge, it goes to /data/ which is mapped to /mnt/user/torrents after its done, plex picks up the episode in my tv library and it also picks up a renamed copy in the movies collection. I am wondering if this is because couchpotato also watching a folder that is mapped to /mnt/user/torrents... if so, then how can I get deluge to move completed movies to one location and completed tv shows to another location?
  5. wait - i think i just got it... /data/whatever/path was coming from deluge. my deluge docker container has /data/ mapped to the location where it stores its completed torrents. I did not have that path mapped on the sonarr docker container. so I just mapped that and added a torrent - lets see if that works.
  6. thanks for the tip - I think I am on to something. I looked in the logs and found the followign error: Import failed, path does not exist or is not accessible by Sonarr: /data/[ www.something.com ] - series.year.S01E02.720p.BluRay.x264 That is the problem - that is not a valid path but I cant figure out where sonarr is getting that path from?
  7. I have been using sonarr with deluge and nzbget for a few weeks now and it works very well with nzbget. whenever i try to download a torrent, it kicks off the download in deluge and then when it finishes downloading, it just sits there in a paused state in deluge forever. and in sonarr the item just stays in the activity queue. I thought sonarr was supposed move the file once it finished downloading and mark it as completed. at the moment I have the "stop seed at ratio" set to 0 - just to try and get this working. so the issue should nto be with the fact that it is still seeding. any ideas would be appreciated. why would this not be happening?
  8. hmm - i just took a spin through the settings in all my dockers and it appears as though the download folders are all using the pass through paths set up in the docker settings. not sure why the file is so large.
  9. i had that thought to but I believe I have them all going to various user shares that are mapped in the docker settings. How would I tell if something is downloading files into the image? like what would a path inside the image file look like?
  10. hmm - i wonder why running plex, sonarr, deluge, nzbget and couchpotato would create such a large file. are there any common configuration issues for these dockers that might cause a large file?
  11. well that is just awesome - I deleted the docker image and recreated it at 20GB and grabbed installed all the containers again and all my settign came right back as if nothing had happened. great stuff! thank you. one more question - given the containers that I previously listed, is it normal that the img file ran out of space? how big should i reasonably make the img?
  12. wont i lose all the settign in my dockers then? I usually run plex, sonarr, deluge, nzbget and couchpotato
  13. settings screen just says: enable docker: yes default image size 10 GB docker image: /mnt/disk12/docker.img delete image file checkbox is not checked.
  14. i am using a chrome extension called awesome screenshot on osx. stores it as a png that is 210kb
  15. also - i just tried to stop the array and it seems to be hung on unmounting user shares.
  16. id be happy to but every time i try to post a screenshot here it says its too big. any tips on how to get that posted?
  17. last night my system froze and i had to reboot. after rebooting and running a parity check, i no longer have a dockers tab. any thoughts on how to get that back? diagnostics file attached. storagetower-diagnostics-20160520-1353.zip
  18. nevermind - i just found that under the plugins tab there is an entry for unraid server od and i just ran the update there. that is an AWESOME feature. Might be worthwhile on the downloads page on the website to put a note on there telling us old school users that this is the easiest way to upgrade.
  19. I am on 6.1.6 so it looks like I am a couple versions behind. I just downloaded the 6.1.9 zip file. what is the quickest way to upgrade?
  20. Thanks for that info! I tried unassigning and reassigning the disk to get it to rebuild and now if I go to the dashboard tab in the smart status row I get the yellow warning icon on disk 8. If I click on that and look under attributes I see two items hi lighted in yellow. One is reallocated sector count. Value:100 Worst:100 Threshold:10 Raw value 1 The other is reported uncorrect Value:100 Worst:100 Threshold: 0 Raw value: 983041 Does that mean the drive is failing and should be replaced?
  21. I appreciate thit advice! Could you elaborate a little on what I could do to remedy that? does that mean that drive needs to be replaced?
  22. no disk 11 is correct. so I shut down, removed and reseated both ends of each sata cable in the top drive cage where disk 10 lives and then powered back up. before startign the array, i set disk 10 to not installed in the main tab. then I started the array. stopped the array, and then assigned disk 10 to the new drive again and started the array back up and now it is rebuilding the data. so far so good. and the good news is that if it was just a cable, then after the rebuild I can throw the old drive back in and expand the array. thanks for your help with that!
  23. disgnostics attached. It will not allow me to upload my screenshot as it says the file size is too large. storagetower-diagnostics-20160515-1830.zip
  24. The other day I noticed that one of the disks in my array had failed. it had a red x icon next to it and said device is disabled, contents emulated. So i bought a new drive and replaced it. After replacing the drive, I powered the system back up assigned the new disk to disk 10 (the one that had failed) and then started up the array. It said it would rebuild the data on to that new drive. The array did start back up but it never rebuild the data on to the new drive. It just still had the red x next to it. Right now my array is stopped and I am on the main tab where you assign drives. Disk 10 is still assigned to the new drive that I put in and I'm not sure how to get the system to rebuild the data onto the new drive. Could someone please point me int he right direction?
