[Support] Josh5 - Steam (Headless)
I'm new to Steam-Headless. I like the functionality but noticed a couple of things. Hope someone can help me out: Software app is empty - read somewhere that I should do an apt update but that didnt work. Sunshine is out of date - tried installing the latest version from flatpack but that just resulted in 2 installed versions that dont work Lutris cant install to /mnt/games - Installed Lutris through terminal. Changing the install location to /mnt/games installs to /tmp/x11 (or something like that). How do I install to the shared drive?

Forgot that you have to do an apt-get update before install hyperion. Post updated.

I was able to update the copy of Hyperion inside the container to 2.0.16. Here are the steps: open a terminal from the container - make sure it is the container and not unraid's terminal wget -qO- https://releases.hyperion-project.org/hyperion.pub.key | gpg --dearmor -o /usr/share/keyrings/hyperion.pub.gpg echo "deb [signed-by=/usr/share/keyrings/hyperion.pub.gpg] https://apt.releases.hyperion-project.org/ $(lsb_release -cs) main" | tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/hyperion.list apt-get update Apt-get install hyperion

Working without any issues. Wish we could update it to the latest though.

Got it to work. 1. Install DVB drivers plugin 2. Install Hyperion docker and add a new device /dev/video0

[Support] hyperion.ng
Did you install the DVB plugin to get /dev/video0 on the host?

Read up a bit more on this and I need to install a plugin for video0 to work. No video drivers I think. Anyhow, I'll probably wait for the "privileged" bug to be resolved before migrating my VM to docker.

I dont see a /dev/video0 on the host. Could it be because the grabber is being passed to a VM at the moment? I can see the device via USB bus though.

I got the docker and that's about it. Dont even know if I correctly passed the device and I cant recall the command I used.

Tried adding --device but that didn't work. I can see the device on the terminal but lsusb shows no devices.
