Question about 2 NIC systems
I have two servers that each have 2 nic's and I was wondering if there was a way to connect the second nic of each machine to each other to allow a direct link between the two without impacting the bandwidth available for use on the other 2 network cards, allowing them to transfer files between each other without the router being involved. Is this a terrible idea or maybe something that could be useful etc?

How many TB's is your Unraid Server?
30 TB, Going to be throwing a little more storage in there next week when the new machine arrives, upgrading from my current hodgepodge mess in a norco 4224 to a supermicro 24 bay, the case upgrade is mostly just quality level the CPU going from a Athlon II x4 965 to a pair of Xeon 2630 v2's and from 16bg to 32 gb of ram is going to be best part, that and having 34 sata ports available for drives, current machine only has 16 at the moment, more bays than i can hookup. *edit* new machine is going to see the 2tb Cache join the array, as well as an additional 2tb, 1tb 500gb drive I have laying around (currently preclearing on a spare machine) and I'm considering tossing in a few 2.5inch drives I have as well, will be using 8 256gb ssd's to replace cache drive.

Norco 4224 fan replacement
I know this post is pretty old but I was curious what peoples opinions were on using just 4 80mm Noctua fans instead of a new backplane and 3 120mm. How much diference do you think would be noticed in a room that usually has a small tower fan running and ceiling fan.

[Deprecated] Linuxserver.io - CouchPotato
Glad to help, I think it's actually any browser that uses the webkit enginge. Safari and Chrome won't work, edge doesn't work, firefox and IE do.. for me at least and the people I've talked to.

I had that problem with the latest CP and chrome. The check boxes won't work but they work in IE.

ok I was confused then by what you wanted. For all my NZB/Torrent and related apps I have a mounted scratch disk, not the cache drive, that I share to all the apps the same way, so that it has the same paths in all the apps, I found that sometimes the integration between apps can break down if two apps think the file path is different. So I just keep my watched folder and my downloads folders all in the same paths for each of them. The final destinations are not always the same structure but at least from the acquiring and processing side they all match up.

For Transmission the black hole directory would be it's watched directory if you mean for it to pick up torrents from other apps, or if it's dumping files that are complete into another program it would be that programs watched directory. For example I have Mylar set to drop NZB's and Torrents into /mnt/disks/Apps/Watched, and I have both sab and transmission set to watch that folder for things to process.
