  1. I've been finally trying this out and everytime I try to launch the script I get a "Permission denied" back for every execution line. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong here?
  2. Thank you for testing! I will configure a second USB drive, pull all the drives and PCIe devices and will test again with BIOS standard setting. If it reports more than 50W somthing has to be wrong. I will then buy a new board off amazon and try with that. Maybe it's a power management issue with the motherboard. That's the last component I can think about.
  3. I'm using a Kill-A-Watt like measurement tool. And I've swapped the graphicscard out for a low power alternative and the GTX970 draws arount 10-13 watts. So 100W-13W=87W which is still too much with all disks spun down. I thought it would be around 50W at worst without the graphicscard... The last part I could swap is the motherboard...
  4. How did you manage to get such a low idle power consumption? Mine, with a Ryzen 7 1700 - ASRock B450 Pro4 - 32GB RAM - Seasonic Platinum 550W PSU - GTX970 - 11x Seagate ST4000DM000 - 2x Sandisk 500GB Cache SSDs pulls 100W with all HDDs spun down. What am I doing wrong here?
  5. I've ordered a Ryzen 5 2400g and will test with that. For 24/7 use, the 1700 pulls too much...
  6. Hi there, my system consists of: Motherboard: ASRock B450 Pro4 CPU: Ryzen 7 1700 @ stock RAM: 32GB Corair 3000 FANs: 5x120mm, various manufacturers Cache: 2xSandisk 500GB Array: 10xSeagate Desktop 4TB HDDs Graphicscard: MSI GTX970 and it draws with 0-1% of load about 130W from the wall. When the HDDs are spun down, still 100W. That is too much, if you ask me. For comparison some reviews of different sites: https://www.vortez.net/articles_pages/amd_ryzen_1700_review,5.html https://www.tomshardware.co.uk/amd-ryzen-7-1700-cpu-review,review-33854-8.html https://www.anandtech.com/show/13085/the-asrock-b450-gaming-itx-ac-and-b450-gaming-k4-motherboard-reviews-fatal1ty-on-a-b450-budget/6 I mean these tests are done with Windows 10 as the OS, but that still looks a little bit off. Does any Ryzen user have some input? cheers
  7. Nice build! Mine looks nearly the same. But the system has an absurd amount of idle power consumption...with all HDDs spun down the system still draws 100W from the wall...that seems too much. I expected around 50-60 with my GTX970 in idle. Do you have data to compare?
  8. I'll try this out. But could you provide some more information if you have disabled the C states in the BIOS and in unRAID itself? I've, because unRAID wasn't stable with them enabled. cheers
  9. I've got the exact same issue! Maybe you could have a look at my attached log file and help me out! cheers supervisord.log
