  1. Thank you! changing to the same path: /mnt/user helped with the rewriting, it now moves the files in a matter of milliseconds. I then tweaked my cache dir settings and now sonarr move files without spinning up the array. Thank you so much for your help! Really appreciated. :-)
  2. Thanks for replying! /media = use cache disk: yes /mnt/cache is a drive share so no cache setting I guess? I feel quite lost here...
  3. I have noticed that whenever sonarr moves files from my download folder to my media library it spins up the array even though I have a cachedisk. I can also see that the file is written rather than moved to the new destination which is on the cache drive /mnt/cache/. (While the move is in progress I can see a .partial~ file in the destination folder). Is there any way to avoid this? Paths: /config --> /mnt/cache/appdata/sonarr/ /dev/rtc --> /dev/rtc /tv --> /mnt/user/media/tv /downloads --> /mnt/cache/appdata/sabnzbddownloads/complete/ Thank you!!
  4. Still writing zeroes at only 26.5MB/s. Will probably let it finish since its 66% but it's very frustrating that it's running so slow. My WD red 3tb finished it's 3 rounds of preclears yesterday... Edit: If anyone is wondering the speed issue was solved by enabling drive cache in the HP Microserver bios!
  5. I’ve just bought two of these drives that are currently on their first out of three rounds of preclearing together with a 3tb WD red in a brand new HP Gen8 Microserver (G1610t, 6gb of ram, unraid 6.1.3) using Bjp’s faster preclear: /preclear_bjp.sh -f -A -c 3 /dev/sdX. The pre read time was around 20 hours which seems normal but it’s currently writing zeros on both drives at 28-29MB/s while the WD red is on its second preclear writing zeroes at closer to 150MB/s. Will the Seagate’s pick up speed or do you think something is wrong? It’s still only 5-6 hours in to the second step of the preclear so I will probably give it some more time… Also; Thank you Danioj for your contributions and tests that made me confident to buy the Seagates!
  6. scroll up and start reading at Reply #21 Thank you for your reply. I've tried to restart it and reinstall it. It did not work. When I tried needos the last time (1-2 weeks ago) it was still on ver 12. Do I need to change EDGE setting? In that case, to what? I also saw: But I do not know how to compile it from source I'm afraid... You don't have to compile it, the docker does that. I have EDGE set to 1286. See here. Note that you have to wait a little while it compiles before you can access its WebUI. You can monitor the progress in the docker log. Thank you so much! It worked. Took maybe 10-15 minutes to compile but seems to be working now.

  8. Is there any way to update nzbget to v15?
  9. Is there any way to upgrade nzbget from ver 12 to 15? Is this something I can do on my own or does the docker need to be updated?
  10. 128,000TB. I believe that's the current 48-bit LBA BIOS limit. Is this also true for the N36L? I'm thinking of upgrading my 1.5TB drives to 4-6TB WD Red depending on what deal I can get.
  11. No that is not the way its supposed to work. Have you tried it on a different port or with a different cable? Thank you for your answers! The cable might be the problem, it's a really shitty esata -> sata cable to use the last port of my N36L. I will have to order another cable, will probably not get it before Friday but I'll let you know how it goes.... However it worked before upgrading to unraid 6, is it more sensitive than unraid 5?
  12. Just upgraded from 5.0.5 and got one question regarding the cache drive. When I boot up my server the array will start without my cache drive added. If I stop the array it will automatically find the cache drive, I do not need to do anything more than just to start the array and it will automatically add the cache drive. Is this how it's supposed to work in unraid 6 or is there something I can do about it? Just to make sure no files on the drive was the problem I reformatted the drive with the same result. I've added my syslog! sdg is the cache drive. Thank you in advance! syslog.zip
  13. My Dynamix Web GUI seems to crash / shut down once in a while. I think it's because my server run out of memory. I will upgrade the ram soon, but is there any way to higher the priority of the web gui until then?
  14. I'm looking at the disk health section of the dynamix webgui and would like som help. I have a setup with 4 drives, 1 cache drive and 1 parity drive. What steps should I take in order to verify that my disks are healthy. Can I just check the disk attributes? Should I run a disk selftest and in that case, when? Or will the system notify me automatically if there is anything wrong? Thank you in advance!
  15. It should have an option in the settings for that, but I was pretty sure it moves it by default. I know mine moves them (try setting permissions to 777 on downloaded files either in sab or drone). Thanks for the answer! I've set it to 777, but still the same issue. Could it be something with the paths? SABnzbd is downloading to: /mnt/cache/apps/sabnzbd/Downloads/complete/tv my series are here: /mnt/user/media/tv/
