  1. The pool was actually formatted and recreated a few weeks ago (added a 2nd ssd to create a pool). This problem did occur before the new pool was created. I will run memtest now!
  2. Hello, I've had this issue once or twice before and have no idea what the root cause is! I've attached the log, everything seems to happen on Dec 28th! mediahub-syslog-20231229-0226.zip mediahub-diagnostics-20231228-2135.zip
  3. Hello! I have had a high number of crashes in the last year. I've recently installed a cache pool which surprisingly has decreased the number of crashes. This time my unraid crashed and I had to do an dirty shutdown. (i tried pinging and no response). Also, this time around my parity now has a big old X beside it. mediahub-diagnostics-20231110-1643.zip
  4. Download of appfeed failed. Community Applications requires your server to have internet access. The most common cause of this failure is a failure to resolve DNS addresses. You can try and reset your modem and router to fix this issue, or set static DNS addresses (Settings - Network Settings) of 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220 and try again. Alternatively, there is also a chance that the server handling the application feed is temporarily down. See also this post for more information Last JSON error Recorded: Syntax error I've just installed a new cache and moved stuff back over and am trying to download apps. My dns was of cloudfare's but the community apps wouldnt load. Then I changed my DNS to 8.8.8.8, and it worked for about 2-3 minutes then back to the same issue. Then I changed my DNS to 8.8.4.4, it worked for another 2-3 minutes and same issue again. I'm losing my mind! Under fix common problems, I've even now got the "Unable to communicate with GitHub.com" - try changing DNS to 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4 -ip is static, no firewalls/vm's/pihole's etc.. ---------------

  6. first of all thank you so much. appreciate the swift reply. server stopped responding over the network within 24hrs of making changes (within the last 12hrs). logs attached. actions taken - changed macvlan to ipvlan - scanned and fixed crc errors on SDF1 (cache drive). currently no errors found. syslog-192.168.2.40.log
  7. was away for a little while and moved the system to another power source to make sure that wasnt causing the issues. server lasted 5-6 days of on time before it was unresponsive over the network. log attached. 3 main issues 1) server hanging 2) docker crash (was rebuilt less than a week ago) 3) upon rebooting after a hang, i cannot access the gui from my main desktop for 20-30minutes - i can only access it from my iOSl browser. (tried different browsers, incognito etc..) syslog-192.168.2.40.log
  8. hey @JorgeBthanks for replying and checking the diagnostics. I attached a screenshot of the syslog settings I enabled when you originally posted the tutorial. The reason I attached it is because the folder (on cache) doesn't seem to have anything in it. Is there another setting that I need to enable?
  9. posting diagnostics! - after the latest "hang", did an unclean reboot and one disk has decided to not cooperate and seems like it has to be rebuilt. this happens probably once a year to a random drive. i have not rebuilt it yet as I want to figure out what is the cause of the system hanging diagnostics-20230706-1117.zip
  10. Hi everyone, I've been running the same instance of unraid for almost 8 years. Currently upgraded to 6.12. My docker had failed 3 times alone this year where I've had to delete and create a new docker.img. Also, the server has a tendency to "hang", where I'd still be able to remotely access some docker apps but I cannot access the unraid gui itself. This happens as often as a day after rebooting. I'm not sure where to begin to look. Thank you in advance

  12. Hey everyone, I've had unraid running for 6 years now but this is a first time issue for me. I've also never posted in here before! I have the error below: Warning: stream_socket_client(): unable to connect to unix:///var/run/docker.sock (No such file or directory) in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/include/DockerClient.php on line 712 Couldn't create socket: [2] No such file or directory Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/include/DockerClient.php on line 898
