  1. Diagnostics attached. tower-diagnostics-20210510-1730.zip
  2. I have downgraded to 6.9.1 and I am still seeing the same pattern. May 10 16:05:50 Tower emhttpd: spinning down /dev/sdd May 10 16:05:50 Tower emhttpd: spinning down /dev/sdb May 10 16:06:01 Tower emhttpd: read SMART /dev/sdb May 10 16:06:02 Tower emhttpd: read SMART /dev/sdd My drives will not stay spun down.
  3. Just SATA. I will downgrade. Tried setting the spin down timeout to less than poll interval. Didn't help.
  4. I am seeing the same cycle. Drives spin down then an almost immediate SMART read causing them to spin back up. May 10 15:03:08 Tower emhttpd: spinning down /dev/sde May 10 15:03:13 Tower emhttpd: spinning down /dev/sdc May 10 15:03:25 Tower emhttpd: read SMART /dev/sde May 10 15:03:25 Tower emhttpd: read SMART /dev/sdc May 10 15:03:42 Tower flash_backup: adding task: php May 10 15:20:35 Tower emhttpd: spinning down /dev/sde May 10 15:20:35 Tower emhttpd: spinning down /dev/sdc May 10 15:20:44 Tower emhttpd: read SMART /dev/sde May 10 15:20:44 Tower emhttpd: read SMART /dev/sdc Is there a solution for this?
  5. I used the 'Alternative method' as outlined in the docs. This was supposed to maintain parity. I did have the 'Parity is valid' box check as the docs said I should. I am guessing I did something to invalidate parity but I am pretty sure I followed the procedure correctly. Anyways -- I have started a parity rebuild as you suggested and it is proceeding along with no errors. Thanks for the responses!
  6. Yesterday I replaced 2tb drive with a 8tb drive. Rebuild completed successfully. Today I removed a 4tb drive following the directions here https://wiki.unraid.net/Manual/Storage_Management#Removing_data_disk.28s.29 I am now running an parity check as recommended and I am getting many sync errors. Can anyone tell if I have made a serious error? Thanks. tower-diagnostics-20210416-1711.zip
  7. My system has been crashing several times over the past few days. I have made no changes. Not sure if this is beta related or not but figured I would post here since I am running it. tower-diagnostics-20201105-0857.zip fault_syslog
  8. Love the docker support it made setting up my Plex server so simple and makes experimenting with other applications a lot less dangerous. Would love to see support for snapshots.
  9. I download to the cache and then move the files to other shares, so I do want downloads on the cache. I have shutdown the VM service and re-run the Mover. Docker image rebuild is complete. I was afraid it might be harder that it was. This is a nice system. Thanks.
  10. Just had this happen to me. Same exact scenario. Anything to worry about? Should I just rebuild my docker image? Diagnostics attached. tower-diagnostics-20190318-0807.zip
