  1. hi, I just wanted to report a problem I had with the Disk Location plugin. I was having 2 problems on my unraid server. It recently started crashing and going unresponsive every couple of days, and there was no content at all under the Dashboard tab of the Unraid UI. No idea if the problems are related. In working with support for the Dashboard issue they had me boot into safe mode which did fix the dashboard issue. So I started to remove plugins. Once I removed the Disk Location plugin then the problem with the dashboard went away and it started functioning normally. I do not know the last time I updated I updated the plugin or what version it was on. Once the problem started I did update unraid from 6.12ish to 7.01. That in itself did not fix anything.I thought I updated all plugins a week or so ago but I'm not positive. That might have just been dockers. Anyway I just wanted to make note of a potential issue with Disk Location. Honestly it was my favorite plugin as I have 7 drives in now and plan for more.
  2. Thank you. I will do that next. New to me so I’ll work on figuring that out. Looks like I can use my original unraid server which I still have as a receiver of the logs.
  3. Hi. I've been running UNRAID for 6-7 years now but I'm not really an expert on it. Never have had problems. But recently its been 'crashing' for some reason rather frequently. By 'crashing' I mean, no services are responding. No Dockers, no response from ping, I even hooked up a monitor to try and catch a message hitting the keyboard did not wake any screen up. It was still blank. The computer was still on. Turning the machine off and on brings it back and other then wanting to do a parity check it works fine, until it dies again. This started on version 6.12 (I think it was) and I upgraded the OS to 7.0.1. I've updated all dockers and plugins. I've run fix common problems. I saw an old post about a "troubleshooting mode" for fix common problems but there was a dead link to that. I think the first issue is that when I reboot it, the log is gone. I do not know how to have the log save so it is viewable after a reboot. I'm hoping that would have some info so if anyone has a way to save off the log information I'd appreciate it. I kinda "FEEL" like this might be coming from a Plex docker. But problems in dockers shouldn't take down the whole OS as far as I know. I don't have any true evidence for blaming plex other then I did run for a few days with plex down and it didn't crash during that time. So mostly just a feeling. This is a relatively recent build on the hardware, but its been running fine for maybe 4-6 months now. These crashes are pretty recent. There is one other odd problem. The main website, as I work on the server and navigate around, the main "Dashboard" screen will go blank. The navigation bar is still there. All the tabs work fine but there is NO content on the dashboard its just all black. I need to reboot to fix that. I can't get to the nice icon so I need to use the terminal and reboot that way. I know long, but wanted to include the information I have. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
  4. Looks like my problem was I upgraded the server but need to upgrade the plugins themselves on the plugin tab. I forgot about them. Thank you very much!
  5. I just upgraded to UNRAID 6.12.4. Now when I click on the apps tab for community applications it tells me theres an update for it but the screen freezes and I can't click on anything. In looking at web developer in chrome I do see an error from : 192.168.1.30/plugins/community.applicaitons/include/exec.php {error: "Unknown post action"} In digging around for this I saw other references to maybe a DNS error but I changed that to 192.168.1.1 which is what my laptop is set for so I don't THINK it's a DNS error. Anyway. I can't get to this page at all so any help or guidance would be really appreciated. thanks!
  6. Ahhh Perfect. Thank you very much!
  7. Hi, I'm working on moving Plex Server from running on my Mac Pro to run on an unraid docket (linuxserver/Plex). I think I have it running ok at the moment but I'm not sure how to upgrade the Plex code. I thought since it was in a docker you just needed to restart the docker but that's not doing it. How do you update the plex code in my Docker? Thank you
