  1. i just wanted to give a little update. since the last vanishing nothing happend. i changed only my ddns container but thats about it. everything is running normal. the backup today ran with no problems and it kept my libvirt.img intact.
  2. i keep checking it every day before i go to bed and when i come home so thats still a 16hour window but i try to check it more often remotely so maybe we can narrow it down. i also definitely take a closer look the next time it does a backup
  3. sure, if you need more just tell me i use the "new" backup/restore appdata tool since 6.12 (backup every wednesday) if i remember correctly this was the first time it occurred. no vanishing vms as of today but i keep an eye on the connection between these two kamino-diagnostics-20230921-1614.zip
  4. I'm at 6.12.4 since 12 days now and started again with a vm a few days ago. all of a sudden the vm field is blank but the vm is still running. when i stop the vm service i'm unable to start it again. the vm is there but not visable and the buttons (to create a new vm etc) are also missing i was on 6.11.5 before and this never occurred before stopping both the docker and the vm service, then start the vm service and then docker works but i dont wanna make that move every time i wanna do something on a vm. logs dont show anything weird to me. i dont even now when the vm page breaks tbh
  5. Hey everyone, i bought a conbee II a few days ago and the passthrough to the VM in Unraid is only pain. i started with adding the stick via the gui like @danioj. it got recognized from unraid, i set up the integration (Zigbee Home Automation) but i can't find a single zigbee device. I tried the Hue motion sensor and the multipurpose sensor from Aoetec. Nothing, just silence and devices blinking to oblivion... i began browsing the web and found several things i tried but they didn't work. and i found this posting. i passed the stick through, set up the integration but again...nothing. Yesterday i set up a raspi with home assistant to confirm that the stick is working because that stupid deconz thingy wouldn't work and find devices via windows... and it worked...he found both sensors within seconds... So the problem is the passthrough of the stick, it's getting recognized but it's functionality isn't working... i passed usb devices through in the past with other vms but i never noticed that some of their functions weren't working properly i'm out of ideas what to do next, i don't see errors or something i can grab on and fix it maybe some of you have thanks in advance
  6. Ah danke.
  9. I would like to push that topic. I added a second VM with the same options. When i started it for the first time, i had an output via DP but as soon as i installed the NVIDIA drivers it switched to only hdmi again. Unfortunatly i dont have a second GPU but maybe this would solve my problem? Maybe the VM/Unraid thingy has problems with the GPU being the only one? I also started the windows right from the SSD and it showed up both screens. Maybe someone has an idea or can confirm my guess about a second GPU? Thanks again in advance MrDreirad
  10. that's right, i forward it to Apple Home. and use Siri or the Home App for launching the VM. I don't have experience with an arduino or similiar but i don't expect it to be too hard to forward it to a physical switch. but i guess many routes leading to the goal. depens on what one need
  11. I use the Electric Brain Unraid API in combination with Homeassistant to passthrough a digital switch to start and shut down the VM. Maybe you can work with this. =)
  12. Hey everybody, I set up a VM in Unraid with Win10 and i passthrough an NVIDIA GTX 970. It all worked good, but now i wanted add a seconds display but as soon as the Windows starts on the VM it shows up only on the first monitor which is plugged in via HDMI. The second screen which is plugged in via DP only shows darkness to me. So i tried to get the second monitor runnig for it self, but no way. He shows the CLI of UNRAID, but when i start the VM it turns black. I also tried the first screen via "HDMI to DVI"-cable, but this isn't working either. I searched the web and the forum, but i couldn't find a solution which fits for me. Is it even possible to run multiple monitor for one VM from one GPU? I also wonder why the heck the screen turns dark when Win 10 starts. Maybe some has an idea what the problem could be. If you need further information please let me know. I give you the XML of the VM as a start. <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?> <domain type='kvm' id='17'> <name>Jasmins Computer</name> <uuid>2a56d769-656b-8057-fc62-26b37bedac3a</uuid> <metadata>
