Hi there. Just built a new unraid server with comet lake cpu and am trying to passthrough the onboard 1g NIC (board has 2.5 + 1) however its showing a PCH SMBus Controller and Comet Lake PCH SPI Controller in the same IMMOU group. (photo attached) Will it effect anything if i pass the whole lot through to a VM? Ive tried downstream and multi-function without luck of splitting the group. Note: It also had the onbaord audio in the same group but i disabled it in the bios as its not needed. Appreciate any help. Thanks

Gathering i don't need all the cpu features as the patch passes through ryzen features? SOLVED! This issue has been fixed by changing my NIC device to built-in. Here is link to guide so its easy to find. Have Big Sur up and running with passthrough gpu and nvme, everything is running fine apart from being able to sign into iCloud. I can sign into the App Store fine just not iCloud, I get the following error "could not communicate with server" I have tried with all different virtual NIC types and have even passed through an intel Nic that's working. Just no luck. Have also tried different smbios. Any help would be great as this is the last thing to get this 100% Thanks in advance

Hi Guys, Ive successfully got a Catalina vm running on a Ryzen 3900x with RX580 passed through. Just got one error in logs i cant fix. "Domain id=2 is tainted: custom-argv" Can any one shed some light on a fix? Thanks

Thanks for this information. I have the same set up and also is working great, I have noticed though that When you try restart a vm it goes into a paused state and needs to be force stopped and restarted. Logs show gpu related issue vfio_err_notifier_handler(0000:0a:00.1) Unrecoverable error detected I have an Rx580 passed though. Any help would be amazing.

Hoping to get some help. I have a Mojave vm running great with pass through Quadro K4200, everything works as expected. However I can not seem to get a Catalina VM to see my GPU. when I access it via splash top the gpu section in about this Mac is just blank. I can’t seem to get my head around this. any suggestions?

Hi there, could someone please help me fix these errors im getting in my nextcloud install. The reverse proxy header configuration is incorrect, or you are accessing Nextcloud from a trusted proxy. If not, this is a security issue and can allow an attacker to spoof their IP address as visible to the Nextcloud. Further information can be found in the documentation. Due to the fact that adding indexes on big tables could take some time they were not added automatically. By running "occ db:add-missing-indices" those missing indexes could be added manually while the instance keeps running. Once the indexes are added queries to those tables are usually much faster. Missing index "parent_index" in table "oc_share". Missing index "owner_index" in table "oc_share". Missing index "initiator_index" in table "oc_share". Missing index "fs_mtime" in table "oc_filecache". Missing index "twofactor_providers_uid" in table "oc_twofactor_providers". Missing index "version" in table "oc_whats_new". Missing index "cards_abid" in table "oc_cards". Missing index "cards_prop_abid" in table "oc_cards_properties". Some columns in the database are missing a conversion to big int. Due to the fact that changing column types on big tables could take some time they were not changed automatically.
