Did you need to install the chipset drivers or did windows automatically install them?

Changing to q35 and apply this patch fixed my code 43 error in win 10 vm. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Been dealing with this ever since I upgraded to ryzen 3900x. Now I can game again!!!! Plz continue to support q35!!!!

I think if I get another gpu like the 2070 super I will have this same issue since this was working fine on my old motherboard

So I managed to boot up with what you did and still didn't work.

I wonder.....when I dumped my vbios. The eufi box is checked off. Is there a way to dump the vbios with the eufi unchecked? Put glue in a legacy computer and dump it from there?

My video card only works if I boot in uefi mode. Not sure if my video card bios can be changed to non uefi...

Switched to pcie slot 2. Booted up vm in safe mode and used driver clean up to remove all traces of old drivers. Restarted and reinstalled drivers. Still getting error 43 Also updated bios to newest ABBA bios. I guess new video card....not sure if I want to try another nvidia card or switch to amd...

Man switching to ryzen is a pain. Tried the following and still getting error code 43: 2. vfio-pci the card 3. Disable Hyper-V 4. Dumping the bios (Work Quite ) 7. use an older driver Don't know what else I can do except buy an amd card....anyone have any suggestions? Prefer to stick with nvidia since I paid a lot of money for a sync monitor... I'm using a 980gtx.
