  1. For completeness of this thread I found this also. On the flash drive edit the file /config/share.cfg (notepad will work fine to do this) shareCacheEnabled="yes" Save and reboot. I had this set to no. There probably is a setting in the gui somewhere for this also.
  2. Interesting. When I made a share called /mnt/cache/domains, The directory showed up on my cache disk but not under user shares on the management page. I then tried mkdir /mnt/user/domains and the directory was created in user shares. I then made it a cache only disk. When I made a directory /mnt/cache/isos, The directory shows up both on the cache disk and as a user share on the management page. There was something odd with "domains" I guess I am trying to recreate what I probably deleted in the past as docker and vm templates often install to these directories. Are there other specifically named directories that are usually created automatically besides domains, isos, and system? I appreciate all the help.
  3. I have docker and VM services enabled with many dockers and a single VM. My guess is that I deleted them long ago. What is the best way to get them back? Thanks
  4. Cannot see the shares domains, iso and system listed under my user shares. From my reading, these were automatically created shares (are these the only automatically created shares?). When I try to create them in user shares, nothing happens. I tried mkdir /mnt/user/domains and cmd returned No medium found If I make a test share with mkdir/mnt/user/domains, the test share is created as expected. What is the best way to restore or create the shares above? Thanks
  5. Having problems with the helper script. I have tried a couple of times starting fresh but still have issue. I tried changing the vm name in my script as per the docker name but still get the error below. I am sure it is something stupid:) Any help appreciated. Thanks
  6. I don't see a dropdown for vdisk capacity in my unraid gui like in the video. What am I doing wrong?
  7. Tried to update docker and my docker disappeared. Now when I try to reinstall I get the following. Running unraid 6.1.9 My / config file is on /mnt/cache/App Data/Crashplan/. /backup is on one of my disks. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Any help appreciated.
  8. A crashplan question. My crashplan disk and parity disk remain spinning. Is there anyway to change the crashplan settings to have these disks spin down? For the computers backing up to unraid, I changed crashplan settings to run between specified times. I noted that this did not make a difference. I noticed that there is an option to allow backups and restores to run between specified times for inbound backups. Would this solve the issue. Anyone try this yet or have a different solution? Thanks
  9. Thanks to all who made this happen!!! A quick question. Does it matter if the crashplan app data is on the cache disk or on one of the array drives. Seemed to me that it would be better to have it backed up on an array disk but I have no experience with such and wondered what those in the know thought?
