  1. OK so I did all that and no errors on the drive. upon booting back up I now have my shares back so my data looks intact albiet hosed from my own personal mistakes (Too many shares) and when I click on Docker and VMS they show no errors as they did before but are blank as I would expect by wiping out the app data. tower-diagnostics-20200117-1810.zip
  2. I removed the second cache drive (500G ssd) so I now have no cache drives. When I go to shares and add share under share names I see some of my old share names. When I click on one and click add share nothing happens. Here are current diags tower-diagnostics-20200117-1726.zip
  3. At this point can I still salvage my data? If I have to redo the dockers it's not the end of the world as that is just time. The data will be a killer though.
  4. Doh! Thought I was following the logic and of course I picked the wrong path. No backup sets found.
  5. Ok so I set it to disk1/appdata and chose backup now and nothing appeared to happen. Is there something else I need to do next?
  6. Under Disk 1 I already have an appdata folder however if I select that it says all data will be overwritten. I assume this is from before. Is there a way to pull that data? Or do I just choose to put it there and overwrite things? Sorry.....trying to prevent the least amount of data loss as possible and trying to understand how this OS works at the same time.
  7. Ok I think I follow you but what should I set the source up to then? I have Disk1 Disk2 Disk3 Disks as options. I assume before it was set to Cache drive?
  8. There is a destination but no source
  9. I have not touched the flash drive. Do I need to do something to it? Will that result in data loss on the array then as well?
  10. I took the cache drive offline but when I try to do anything with dockers it won't work. No dockers can install and when I go to docker tab it says docker service failed to start and under vms it says libvert service failed to start.
  11. My first mistake was thinking that pooling drives and getting more space would increase the xfer speed of my data. Now that I've realized that I will stick with the single ssd for now. From what I'm reading I need to: 1. take the cache pool down 2. Reinstall my various dockers 3. re establish my smb shares 4. setup CAbackup 5. keep learning Am I missing something?
  12. no.....something happend when I was moving things around in Krusader and when I moved things to a root dir it share them all out. That was on my to do list to figure out for today before the drive crash
  13. LOL this keeps getting better and better.....As I originally stated I'm still getting my feet wet. I just looked at CA Appdata backup and it says no backups found so
  14. So it would appear my cache data is more than likely gone. So does that mean I've lost all my data on my drives? I went to reinstall binhex-krusader and I don't have option to even install it. Not sure how I recover from here.
  15. I probably built it about 45 days ago (used 30 day trial and extra 2 weeks and then it ran for a week maybe before I upgraded with a purchased license) ago and I see 6.8 came out early December so it is very possible I built this on 6.7. If I did how screwed am I?
