Unraid broke...swapped cases, now drive disabled and gives udma error...
Thank you so much for helping me with this @JorgeB & @trurl : ) Everything is back up and going strong! Jonsbo is sending a new backplane for the case, they believe it is faulty.

Ahh, I bet that is it. I'll try to swap to the HDMI port instead of the DP port on the GPU. Thank you so much for everything

Unraid broke...swapped cases, now drive disabled and gives udma error...
Oh nice : ), I just started the rebuild, fingers crossed. The other error I am getting is the screen is frozen on this screen, (attached photo) Everything seems to work fine on Unraid though.

Unraid broke...swapped cases, now drive disabled and gives udma error...
Here is the latest diag What I did this time was bypass the backplane and plug each drive in separately all with new cables. The same drive is coming up disabled and it is plugged into the same port the parity was previously. Could there possibly be something wrong with my config somewhere causing this? Could the ACS override be causing this? All just doesn't make any sense since everything was working fine in the other case / motherboard (B550 creator) nas-diagnostics-20240122-1208.zip

The Jonsbo N3 has a backplane that has x2 Molex power plugs and x1 Sata power plug going to it. I have all three plugged in. Here is a picture of it: (photo is not mine) N3 Backplane Do I need to replace the power plugs from the powersupply to the backplane?

Unraid broke...swapped cases, now drive disabled and gives udma error...
So I've tired multiple different cables and sata ports. I've even swapped disk1 to disk2 and the same drive is giving me the same errors. I can do this again and leave them swapped. Then generate a new diags after, later this evening if that might help.

Unraid broke...swapped cases, now drive disabled and gives udma error...
Hello all, I recently swapped my Unraid server to a new case. All the same hardware as before except the motherboard: Phantom B550 itx 5950x 64gb ram 3060 12gb Array - x1 16tb HDD, x2 8tb HDD, x1 2tb HDD Cache - 500GB WD 2.5 sata ssd Baremetal - 2tb nvme ssd, 2tb HDD SFX corsair 750 psu Orico nvme to x6 sata card Everything was working fine before I did the switch. It took me awhile to figure out how to get the IMMOU groups to work on the new board with some bios settings and Unraid. After I figure that out, I was getting some weird boot problems and still am but everything seems to work fine except the one drive. Errors and solutions to the boot problems: -Array would boot but VMS, Docker would load blank screens. Fix was to redirect to location on cache drive for Docker, had to recreate VM image. -When the array would boot the file system would say invalid and have not files. Above fix seem to solve this as well. Need help with: -Now for one of my disk it says invalid disk and is emulated, the error is udma error. Did a little research and everything I saw said it was a physical connection problem. I tried several different cables and also changed from different SATA ports on the Orico hba and also switched to a sata on the motherboard and this still didn't solve the issue. -Also when Unraid is booting it will freeze on "NET: Registered PF_UNIX/PF_LOCAL ". Everything still boots up but is stuck there on the screen. I have attached a diagnostics file, thank you in advanced so much! nas-diagnostics-20240122-0624.zip

General network configuration help?
Hello all, I have been using Unraid for a few years now mainly for Plex and one baremetal VM, always the latest version of Unraid. I have an opnsense network that has several VLANs: 192.168.1.1 - Main 10.10.10.1 - HomeWireless 10.10.20.1 - Smart Home Devices 10.10.30.1 - VPN 10.10.40.1 - CCTV I've always had my Unraid server @ a static 192.168.1.190 I've never really understood or have been able to get Dockers to run correctly in Unraid on the VLANs For instance: I would like for my Plex docker to be on the 10.10.10.1 VLAN. I would like my Home Assistant on 10.10.20.1 VLAN. I would like my Shinnobi on 10.10.40.1 VLAN. But anytime I start assigning the Dockers to the specific VLANs, I cannot access there GUI's from unraid manage portal. Some of them I can access if I connect to that specific network but never from the main network. I am assuming I have some fatal flaw in my initial configuration of Unraid? I can post pictures of my setup sometime tomorrow, currently the system is down, transitioning into a N3 Jonsbo case. The specs of the current system are: Phantom B550 itx 5950x 64gb ram 3060 12gb Array - x1 16tb HDD, x2 8tb HDD, x1 2tb HDD Cache - 500GB WD 2.5 sata ssd Baremetal - 2tb nvme ssd, 2tb HDD SFX corsair 750 psu Orico nvme to x6 sata card Thank you so much for any help on this : ) Josh

Upgraded Motherboard, CPU, RAM, and GPU now problems with starting array...
So this VM runs on a baremetal NVME, could I just delete the VM and try to recreate the VM since all my data is on the NVME drive?

Upgraded Motherboard, CPU, RAM, and GPU now problems with starting array...
Progress, I was able to start the array. I renamed that VM to something else but as soon I start the VM service to edit the XML the unraid USB disconnects like before. I've attached another log. Thank you so much for helping with this : ) todaynas-diagnostics-20230912-0904.zip

How do I get access to the VM XMLs if I can't start the array and or dockers? Is this on the Unraid USB somewhere?

Upgraded Motherboard, CPU, RAM, and GPU now problems with starting array...
Hey all, hoping to get some help with this, I am stumped. I recently upgraded from a Crosshair VII, amd 2700x, 32gb ram and a 1060 to a B550 creator, amd 5950x, 64gb ram and a 3060. I am also running a Supermicro AOC-S3008I-L8E HBA. I had problems from the get go and could not boot unraid in UEFI mode so I changed to legacy and thought I fixed everything but when I started the array my boot usb with unraid will disconnect. I thought maybe it was because of not being able to boot UEFI mode so I figured that out which I had to disable CMS, change to "UEFI other", and turn my PCIe slots to gen 3. Once I got this working the same thing is happening, as soon as I start the array my usb will disconnect. So I then created a new USB and copied my old config over to it and still the same problem. I have tried every usb port on the board now and still the same problem. Any ideas at all, I have attached an unraid diagnostics file to this nas-diagnostics-20230911-2214.zip

UNRAID on VLAN support?
Is it possible to run Unraid on a VLAN yet? I know I messed with this about a year ago but some of the dockers in Unraid didn't like not having 192.168.1.0/24 subnet as default. I would like to set mine up on 10.10.50.0/24 Thank you

Hey all, having issues lately. The log is showing: e /run-parts.sh: line 6: /etc/services-enabled.d/020nextcloud: Permission denied /run-parts.sh: line 6: /etc/services-enabled.d/010lamp: Permission denied /run-parts.sh: line 6: /etc/services-enabled.d/000ncp: Permission denied /run-parts.sh: line 42: /etc/services-enabled.d/000ncp: Permission denied /run-parts.sh: line 47: /etc/services-enabled.d/010lamp: Permission denied /run-parts.sh: line 47: /etc/services-enabled.d/020nextcloud: Permission denied I have tried: sudo ncp-config to try and fix but it shows "command not found"

Anyway I can use this without a subdomain or dns? I would like to generated certs for my local 10.10.60.100 for my local bitwarden docker. I followed invaders video replacing the duckdns.com portion to 10.10.60.100 with no luck

[support] Vaultwarden (formerly Bitwarden_rs)
I think I have make headway. I made the cert.pem and key.pem files and added them to the SSL folder. I then opened the console for the container and pasted: docker run -d --name bitwarden \ -e ROCKET_TLS='{certs="/ssl/certs.pem",key="/ssl/key.pem"}' \ -v /ssl/keys/:/ssl/ \ -v /bw-data/:/data/ \ -p 443:80 \ bitwardenrs/server:latest But in the log I get: [start][INFO] Rocket has launched from http://0.0.0.0:80 But I need it to start on https://10.10.60.100 Edit: Is "-v /bw-data/:/data/ \" correct for this specific docker? I think both -v /ssl/keys/:/ssl/ \ -v /bw-data/:/data/ \ Could be wrong for me here, I have my ssl folder here: "appdata\bitwarden\ssl" Also on my certs when it asked for common name I did: "10.10.60.100" should I have done "https://10.10.60.100"?

I guess I just need a way to make the two .pem files that are self signed and put them into the ssl folder? Or am I way off?

[support] Vaultwarden (formerly Bitwarden_rs)
Hello everyone, I have bitwardenrs installed on my unraid server and all set up. I have smtp setup, etc. When I go to login I get the "This browser requires HTTPS to use the web vault, Check the bitwarden_rs wiki for details on how to enable it." After reading through this I see that this is meant to be ran with a reverse proxy. Is there a way to set this up locally? I don't want to use a dns. I would like to be able to just enter the dockers ip to access. I tried reading through and figuring out the cert stuff, but this is a little over my head. Could someone walk me through how to set this up and get the files I need and copied to bitwardenrs so I can use this locally if it is possible? I was able to make the "ssl" folder in my /appdata/bitwarden/, and that was about it Thank you so much, Josh

[Support] Linuxserver.io - Tautulli
I am setup the same way, but still cannot get mine to verify. Did you have to do anything else? I am able to get everything to work if I put my Plex docker back in host mode and not give it a static IP. I think if I could bridge my tautulli docker to my plex docker it will work? I don't know, everything works if I leave Plex in Host mode but as soon as I assigned the Plex docker a static IP, tautulli breaks. Thank you for any help, Josh
