February 23, 20215 yr As the title states. Unraid is unable to see *any* drive directly connected to the card. -BIOS detects all the drives -card boots fine on another machine with just OS drive attached on it -iommu=pt is enabled in boot parameters -virtualization on or off on the motherboard makes no difference at all. -card is in supported list https://wiki.unraid.net/index.php/Hardware_Compatibility#PCI_SATA_Controllers Diagnostics attached. tower-diagnostics-20210223-1151.zip Edited February 23, 20215 yr by TheFiuz one detail missing

It also says for unRaid v6 avoid anything with a Marvel based chipset. Al the most recent Linux kernels seem to have trouble using Marvel based controllers. Experience has shown they have a tendency to drop disks offline for no obvious reason.
February 23, 20215 yr Author So according to the supported chipsets mentioned above, is a Silverstone ECS06 (ASMedia ASM1166) recommended then? Thanks.

Not sure about that card. ASMedia is normally fine as long as there is no port multiplier on the board, but that board appears to have one. @JorgeB might be able to weigh in on this and whether it matters?
