Gragorg Posted February 26, 2021 Share Posted February 26, 2021 I currently have a Corsair D550 Obsidian case. All my internal 3.5" bays are full. Looking for something simple to mount as many drives as possible in my 4 5.25" bays. Not really looking for something fancy like an icydock. Don't really need hot swap or the backplane on the the dock. Would like a simple cage with a spot to mount a fan. Anyone recommend anything like this? Quote Link to comment

PeteAron Posted March 3, 2021 Share Posted March 3, 2021 Jorge's suggestion is spot on IMO so i will second it. since you have 4 5.25 bays, two of these will make great use of that space. You could do a 5 into three cage and then use an adaptor to mount an extra disk into the 4th bay but that would not be quite as good because of the fan coverage available from those mount kits.
