mhweb Posted April 3, 2021 Share Posted April 3, 2021 This is going to be my first time updating the system, I'm wondering if the latest stable build 6.9.1 can be installed without issues on 6.8.0? If there anything special I need to do? I already backed up the flash drive. Does update could cause problems with stored data? Quote Link to comment
trurl Posted April 3, 2021 Share Posted April 3, 2021 If you post your diagnostics we would have a better idea about your configuration and hardware. Most have had no problem upgrading. Data loss is extremely unlikely unless you already have problems or do something wrong. In any case, you must always have backups of anything important and irreplaceable, parity is not a substitute for backups. Have you read the release thread? Quote Link to comment
