cheddarcheesed
Hi everyone, I just upgraded my version from 6.8.3 to 6.9.1 and all of my drives show up as missing. My ssd's show up but they are physically in the server chassis, all the HDD's in my MD1000 show up as missing they go through the sever via a SUN 375-3609-03 which is apparently a LSI 9211. When I down grade back to 6.8.3 all the drives show up. Has anyone run into this issue any solution? Thanks for all you help Quote Link to comment

JorgeB
It's not an LSI, it's a PMC Sierra pm80xx, there's a known issue with the new driver for those, you'll need to downgrade and wait for a new driver, or replace it with an LSI. Quote Link to comment
cheddarcheesed
Thanks for the help, I guess i was mistaken on what card it was. Is there a way to know when the driver would update or would I need to try upgrading unraid periodically to see if the fix has been applied. Should a LSI SAS9200 external card work with Unraid if I switch cards? Quote Link to comment
ChatNoir
There is a recommended list there : https://forums.unraid.net/topic/102010-recommended-controllers-for-unraid-last-updated-022021/ Quote Link to comment
