mehrere externe soundkarten haben gleiche usb nummern

Guten Abend Unraid Community

ich hab an meinem pc 4 externe soundkarten (ja ich brauch die leider) und die will ich zu windows durchgeben.
das problem ist das 3 von ihnen die gleiche nummer haben und als ein gerät zählt. Man kann keine gleichen geräte durchgeben.
in der iommu group sind die auch alle in einer gruppe
jemand ne idee wie ich das problem lösen könnte?

...extern heisst, die sind über USB angeschlossen.

Der geweilige USB Controller ist das Hauptgerät, welches Du durchreichen kannst. Alle Geräte hängen under dessen Hub.

Wieviele USB Controller hat denn Dein MB?

Du musst die Soundkarten evtl. auf andere USB-Ports umziehen, sodass immer nur eine an einem USB-Controler hängt.

 

Wenn es dann immer noch nicht reicht, könnten dann ein (oder zwei) zusätzliche USB-Controller über PCIe Abhilfe schaffen..

mein mainboard müsste einen usb controller haben. 

msi mpg x570 gaming pro carbon wifi wäre das motherboard an sich

ich kann aber den usb controller selbst nicht durchreichen weil der unraid stick darüber läuft. einmal probiert und unraid gecrashed

über usbip hätte ichs auch probiert nur wird das dann irgendwie sobald die vm startet die soundkarten "verworfen" und werden in windows nicht erkannt und verschwinden dann auch in usbip.

wäre das problem mit nem pcie usb controller komplett behoben das ich alle externen soundkarten da ranhängen kann um alles komplett durchzureichen?

...ich denke es hat Minimum 2 Controller, zumindest so, dass Du sie einzeln durchreichen könntest... einen für USB3 und einen für USB2.

Evtl. sogar drei, da es USB3-Gen1 und USB3-Gen2 hat.

Edit2: Wenn alle devices unter der gleichen IOMMU-group sind, dann hat er nur einen Controller,, der alle drei Modu kann...das ist dann pech, wg. dem USB-Stcik für unRaid, wie Du ja schon weisst.

...wenn Du die alle an eine (edit: die selbe) VM durchreichen willst ja.

I have usbip installed and it cant passthrough the external soundscards. i dont know why but if i start the windows 10 vm the soundcards disappear in usbip and dont show up in windows

My Plugin also does USB passthru via Virsh of same vendor, you dont need to use USBIP part. Or do you mean you already tried my plugin?

sorry i didnt realised that this is a plugin, i will try it and say how it went

but this is the usbip plugin right?

okey i have usbip and usbip gui but it doenst work with it^^

If you want to post screen shots etc on support thread i can look to see if i can do something.

 

Also sound cards from /usr/local/emhttp/state/usb.ini would be useful
