Hi All

whats the best way to fix my gui.  I dont have a lot of time for down time so easiest option would be great.

I get the following error. i have tried to remove the stats plugin from putty and says it removed but still get the error.  Will a reboot fix it or do i need to rebuild?

Warning: require_once(/usr/local/emhttp/webGui/include/DefaultPageLayout.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix/template.php on line 60

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '/usr/local/emhttp/webGui/include/DefaultPageLayout.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/emhttp') in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix/template.php on line 60

On the command line, type:

diagnostics

That will write the Diagnostics file to the logs directory on the Flash Drive, You can get it from the flash by shutting down the server by the comand

powerdown

Attach the file to your next post.

Only way for that file to not exist is that it got deleted somehow...

A reboot is your only recourse, and then we go from there.

Ok I will reboot later when server is quiet.

I did delete a couple of things but only when googling the issue. I had a similar error when went to docker settings and couldn't open vnc to any of my vms.

Let you know outcome of reboot.

Worse case can I just rebuild the memory stick from a backup?

Thanks

Ok so reboot sorted gui.  However i am back to the original issue.  When i click settings and Docker i get this

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix/include/DefaultPageLayout.php(520) : eval()'d code on line 62

That implies a bad plugin (docker folders?)  Reboot in safe mode and it should disappear, or from the plugins tab uninstall docker folders and try again (docker folders OTOH is the only thing I can think of that would affect both tabs)

here are my plugin list.  What do you mean docker folders.  Im still new to unraid and dockers

Restart in safe mode.  If it fixes itself, then delete the following from /config/plugins in order with a reboot after each

  • gui.search.plg
  • snmp.plg
  • usbip.plg

Followed by any of the remaining ones

dont think i have ever used docker folders either.

Ok so for example

Ca.backup.plg

Restart

Ca.cleanup.appdata.plg

Restart

All the way to usbip-gui.plg

Backup and recreate the flash drive, from the backup restore just your key and the disk assignments (super.dat), then reconfigure the server or restore the rest of the config files one a a time.

Oh great lol

So reinstall dockers plugins. Yay will do tonight.

After a lot of restores i found it was an issue with network.cfg or network rules so i used fresh cfg files and reconfigured network and all good.

Thanks all

Would you mind elaborating on your solution @Mat1987?  Where are the network.cfg files?  How did you get the "fresh files"?

Thanks..This exact issue has happened to me as of 48 hours ago.

Delete or rename the file(s).  (ex.  network.cfg.old) Then reboot, the default files will be created automatically.

Thanks @Frank1940, that's helpful.

Whats odd is that I solved my issue and got the Unassigned Devices UI back online by doing the following:

1) Uninstalled both "Unassigned Devices" & "Unassigned Devices Plus (Addon)" plug-ins.

2) Reboot Server

3) UI works correctly now.

How is the Unassigned Devices feature still present in my Unraid if I uninstalled the plugin?  Should I only install the "Unassigned Devices Plus (Addon)" now?

Small update to my current status.  The Unassigned Devices feature is in the UI, but I can't figure out how to mount/un-mount disks.  If I installed the Unassigned Devices plugin again, I'm back to my original issue (see screenshot).  I'm going to try backing up and replacing network.cfg now.

UnRaid always has an Unassigned Devices section in the GUI, but without the plugin installed it does not have much functionality beyond listing the devices.
