IMTheNachoMan
To be able to debug live you need to edit files in /usr/local/emhttp. Right now I keep a shell session from within the Unraid UI but editing files via nano isn't that elegant. Is there a way to create a samba share against /usr or is there a better way? primeval_god
A program like WinSCP allows you to connect via ssh and edit files via a local editor. A VSCode docker container with a mapping to /usr/local/emhttp would work as well. 1 Quote Link to comment

Yeah. As I learn things I am trying to document them into a GitHub repo to build a "Unraid Plugin Development How To" guide. Can hopefully help the next person. 1 Quote Link to comment

IMTheNachoMan
Thank you! I will check it out. I was hoping for a way to be able to edit from VS Code. Using SSH for now. Quote Link to comment
