Tomek_84
Hi! I want to ask for help. I'm still new to the subject. I put together a configuration in days, but during parity checking the% doesn't go any further in a relatively short time, but the remaining time increases indefinitely. I can't stop parity checking anymore. I have attached some pictures. What can cause this type of problem? Thanks in advance for your help. JorgeB
Start by running memtest, also good to post the complete diagnostics. Quote Link to comment

Squid
i5-10400 You might want to look in your BIOS and check what the TDP limits are there. Most motherboard manufacturers for the 400 series of chipsets decided to completely ignore Intel's specifications and run the CPU's at a TDP of 4 kilowatts and rely upon the cooling to keep things in check and when it couldn't rely upon the CPU to throttle things down. It's an inherent overclock and violates Intel's spec, and causes problems Look at https://forums.unraid.net/topic/100360-z490-multi-core-enhancement/?tab=comments#comment-926134 and watch the vid to see the criminal behaviour all the manufacturer's were guilty of. The TDP of your chip is 65Watts, and you should set this accordingly. Quote Link to comment
