Koshy
All the drives connected to this HBA stopped showing up on unraid. When I connected these drives to the SATA ports on the motherboard they showed up. Can you confirm the HBA is not working, I will attach the diagnostics. LSI Logic SAS 9207-8i is the HBA in question tower-diagnostics-20220411-1803.ziptower-diagnostics-20220411-1803.ziptower-diagnostics-20220411-1803.zip tower-diagnostics-20220411-1803.zip Edited April 15, 2022 by Koshy Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
No LSI HBA detected, make sure it's well seated or try a different PCIe slot if available. Quote Link to comment
Koshy
I tried reseating the card and tried different PCIe slots as well but no luck. Where in the diagnostics does it indicate that the LSI HBA is detected? Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
You can just go to Tools -> System Devices and search for "LSI", e.g.: 1 Quote Link to comment
Koshy
It is not showing up for me Edited April 15, 2022 by Koshy Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Then it's likely dead, you can try it in a different PC to confirm if you have one. Quote Link to comment
Koshy
I do not have another PC to to plug it into. Can you tell me where in the diagnostics.zip the LSI is mentioned? Do you think LSI SAS 9210-8i is a good replacement for the card? Quote Link to comment

It's only mentioned if one is detected, in your case it isn't, if it was it would visible in the syslog and lspci.txt, also in the GUI like mentioned. Quote Link to comment
