HidYn
Hi Guys, I've been using 6.10 without too many issues but today I updated to 6.10.2 and I have no network connection. Any ideas? Edited May 28, 2022 by HidYn removed diags Quote Link to comment
bonienl
Did you read the 6.10.2 release notes? Quote Link to comment
Solution itimpi Posted May 28, 2022 Solution Share Posted May 28, 2022 Have you read the 6.10.2 release notes and the issues around the tg3 NIC driver? You may need to take the steps to unblacklist that driver to get your network working if you think your hardware is not one being affected by the tg3 issue. Quote Link to comment
HidYn
Literally just read the release notes and had the 'doh' moment. Just working through now apologies Quote Link to comment
meechgalhuquot
I had the same issue. I think that with the prompt to upgrade in the dashboard with no warnings about these issues is going to cause a lot of people to go through this. The Dashboard should absolutely provide a warning or show the changelog before you see the upgrade button Quote Link to comment

Back up and running I disabled Virtualization in the BIOS. I concur this would be a good solution. Quote Link to comment

Either way, still needs to happen rather than having to check a forum post. You should feel safe when upgrading on the stable path that something like this wouldn't happen 1 Quote Link to comment
