Unraid 6.10 Update issue

I updated unraid from 6.9 to 6.10 after the reboot my 2 SSD drives are unrecognized both appear as unassigned drives but if i try to assign them to the correct disks unraid tells me its incorrect.

Inconsistent identification of disks is just one of many reasons RAID controllers are NOT recommended with Unraid.

Do you know that SSDs in the array can't be trimmed and can only be written at speed of parity disk?

You will have to New Config to get your disks reassigned with their new identifications. Maybe not a permanent fix due to your RAID controllers.

i thought i had disabled the RAID controller. I was able to revert back to the previous version and everything did work but I will have to redo my config i guess in order to get things setup properly. thank you

There were some changes in how devices are detected with some controllers, but you just need to do a new config, re-assign all devices to their original slots, check "parity is already valid" and start the array, this should be a one time thing.
