bojeebill
I was accessing my server from the URL https://servername.local/main, I just changed the SSL setting from on to auto and after i applied it I cant access the server vi the web UI anymore. I can access the login page from http://(local server IP) but when submit the creds it redirects back to the login screen again. In chrome dev tools>network I see the following http://(local server IP)/login >302 > http://(local server IP)/Main > 302 >http://(local server IP)/login. Quote Link to comment
Solution JorgeB Posted August 12, 2022 Solution Share Posted August 12, 2022 See here: https://wiki.unraid.net/Manual/Security#Securing_webGui_connections_.28SSL.29 If it does not help edit config/ident.cfg on the flash drive and change USE_SSL from "auto/yes" to "no", then reboot. Please upload your diagnostics.zip (from Tools -> Diagnostics) Also open a web terminal and run this command, then paste the results here: php /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix/include/UpdateDNS.php -v Quote Link to comment
bojeebill
I was able to troubleshoot this to a place that I was able to recove from. The main thing that helped was restarting in GUI mode and troubleshooting from on the machine. Found that the servername had changed and there was a few mismatches in the conf. Was able to sort it now. Cheers for the help all. Quote Link to comment
ljm42
Note that if you manually edited any files not on the flash drive ( /boot ), those edits will be lost when you reboot. Quote Link to comment
