You should remplace all the bz* files on your flash drives with one pulled from the release you are using. You can get the files in the zip here : https://unraid.net/download

THIS!!!! I just had the same issue with the bzfirmware checksum error.

  1. I installed the UNRAID USB Creator tool.

  2. Open the UNRAID USB Creator program.

  3. Selected the same Unraid version that I was using previously on my server.

  4. Used a NEW USB 2.0 flash drive on a USB 2.0 port "Black".

  5. Wrote the Unraid OS to the NEW flash drive.

  6. Copied the "Old" bz* & changes txt files on previously used USB flash drive to a backup location on my windows system labeled "OLD".

  7. Copied the 'New" bz* & changes txt files on the newly created USB flash drive to a backup location on my windows system.

  8. Deleted the "Old" bz* & changes txt files on previously used USB flash drive.

  9. Wrote the "New" bz* & changes txt files to the previously used USB flash drive, keeping all other files.

  10. Unmounted the USB flash drive.

  11. Plugged previously used USB flash drive, with the "New" bz* & changes txt files, into "Black" USB 2.0 port on server.

  12. Booted server and viola!

My server booted up without any issues and was configured exactly as it was prior to the bx* checksum error.

    Thank you, thank you!

Thank you!  I had actually replaced all of the root files and it worked so I was just about to post the fix here and saw your reply.  Thanks!

  • This worked for me! Somehow my bzfirmware file got corrupted and replacing it worked immediately.
