mrlargefoot
This morning I noticed that my server was unresponsive (was working fine last night). After a bit of digging it seemed like the USB had been corrupted which was odd. I then created a new one from an older backup but when booting up, all my drives (except cache drives) show up as unmountable. When I run checks on them they all have numerous filesystem errors too (attatched). 1. Have I lost all of my data? In my searching it seems like this is an occurance for 1 or 2 drives in most cases, doesnt look good to me. 2. WTF happened? I don't have a way of accessing logs since last night but I'm super curious as to what could have wiped my USB and all of my drives! Quote Link to comment

JorgeB
I don't see hoe a new config would cause filesystem corruption, are you using the same Unraid release you were on before? Quote Link to comment
mrlargefoot
I'm guessing the corruption happened at the same time as the USB corruption. The new USB just allows me to access the drives again. The drives themselves seem healthy so perhaps it was a cyberattack or something? I can't see a way of retrieving any data if the drives are unmountable. Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Running xfs_repair should fix all the corruptions, with no or some possible data loss, suggest first upgrading to v6.11.3 since it will have the latest xfsprogs, then check filesystem on all disks, run it without the -n option or nothing will be done.
