Dan-E
I am trying to install a software based ip-pbx from yeastar. Yeastar supplied a guide for esxi here https://help.yeastar.com/en/p-series-software-edition/software-installation-guide/install-yeastar-p-series-software-edition-on-vmware-esxi.html Using the the iso they provided I can make it work on esxi but not on my unraid server running 6.11.4 Should I have to change any vm settings on unraid to make this work? Thanks in advance. Quote Link to comment

It is a customized iso containing ubuntu server files and should be bootable. Booted it successfully in esxi. Edited January 8, 2023 by Dan Baulete Quote Link to comment
itimpi
Have you made sure the VM is set to boot from the ISO image? You do not give any indication of how you have set up the VM on Unraid and what happens when you try and start it? Perhaps if you post the XML for the VM then someone might spot something. Solution JonathanM Posted January 9, 2023 Solution Share Posted January 9, 2023 Have you tried SeaBIOS instead of OVMF? Quote Link to comment
itimpi
According to the screenshot you have the VM set to boot off the vdisk, and not the ISO. From you earlier description I thought you needed to boot off the ISO? Quote Link to comment

You will need to delete and re-create the template. Is the CD bootable not sure if it has to be for vmware? Quote Link to comment
