Reconfigure the tower.local shortcut

Featured Replies

Hi!

I have moved to another country, and after scratching my head a bit I have managed to almost put back everything in my server in order. The last piece I'm missing is that I cannot access it using tower.local anymore, I can only use the IP. I am guessing there's something to configure somewhere, maybe in the routing table at the bottom of the network settings?

Could someone help me figure this out?

thank you!

On Settings -> Management Access be sure to set the "Local TLD" to "local", this will activate mDNS. Note that mDNS only works if your server and client are on the same subnet. If you still have issues you might need to research mDNS and see if something on your network is blocking it.
