DiscoverIt
So when is the power tripping mod going to eat their pride and open the subreddit? At this point their pride is doing nothing but destroying the community many have helped curate. Edited June 16, 2023 by DiscoverIt Quote Link to comment
whipdancer
That’s the great thing about Reddit. If you don’t like how a sub is run, you can start your own. Quote Link to comment
FlyingTexan
I started one. Join r/arrville. You can be #1 lol. It’s Bs what people are being deprived of. Very little moderation. Enjoy freedom. Tell your friends. Quote Link to comment

Fracturing a small community provides zero improvement. (Un)fortunately it appears Reddit has clarified it’s inactive moderator policy so if it stays closed too much longer someone could request control. Quote Link to comment
peterg23
It will be a sad day if we loose r/unraid Edited June 17, 2023 by peterg23 Quote Link to comment
mackid1993
I've opened a support ticket with Reddit about this guy. Hopefully they remove him. He's clearly in violation of their Code of Conduct. Quote Link to comment
TheGleaner
I could "understand" some of them closing(well, no I don't but...), but anything related to tech support it shouldn't have even crossed their minds. I do find it odd that any time someone recommends coming here instead of what ever is supposedly the replacement, it gets shot down as "forums aren't good for troubleshooting" yet reddit is a forum. Datahoarder is also a sad thing to lose. If unraid couldn't figure it out, someone over there could. Quote Link to comment
TheIlluminate
Yeah r/unRAID is awesome and so is r/datahoarder. People there are super helpful especially to new guys. The place I subscribe to but never post is r/homelab. Not sure why but everyone there is a critic or well not nice. Quote Link to comment
