[Solved] Update 6.12 - BtrFS drive unmountable - Unsupported or not filesystem

Featured Replies

After updating to 6.12. One of my drives is no longer mountable.

All other drives in the array are fine which is running on XFS system.

The cherry on the top is that I now noticed my flash backup didn't download correctly so restoring is no longer possible now.

Attached diagnbostics.

This is because you only have a single btrfs drive assigned to the array, same issue as this one, if you updated using the GUI you can go to Tools -> Update OS and restore previous release, if not you can always remove the flash drive and replace all bz* files with the ones from the v6.11.5 download.

Thanks, busy restoring previous version via GUI.

So I take it the fix before updating is backup data on the drive, format to xfs (same as other drives) and then update?

At the moment yes, you'd need to do that before updating, not sure if this will be a quick or easy fix for LT.

This should be fixed in v6.12.1, if you want to try again.
