bally12345
My Syslog keeps filling up with Server kernel: usb 1-7: input irq status -75 received and have no idea what is causing it. I only have 3 usb devices plugged in, Unraid USB HP Keyboard UPS USB Had a look at the diagnostics and see server-diagnostics-20230702-1142.zip Quote Jul 2 04:40:03 Server kernel: usb 1-7: input irq status -75 received ### [PREVIOUS LINE REPEATED 9371 TIMES] ### Jul 2 04:50:03 Server rsyslogd: [origin software="rsyslogd" swVersion="8.2102.0" x-pid="1309" x-info="https://www.rsyslog.com"] rsyslogd was HUPed Jul 2 04:50:03 Server kernel: usb 1-7: input irq status -75 received ### [PREVIOUS LINE REPEATED 39786 TIMES] ### Jul 2 05:32:29 Server flash_backup: adding task: /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.my.servers/scripts/UpdateFlashBackup update Jul 2 05:32:29 Server kernel: usb 1-7: input irq status -75 received ### [PREVIOUS LINE REPEATED 16881 TIMES] ### Jul 2 05:50:30 Server flash_backup: adding task: /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.my.servers/scripts/UpdateFlashBackup update Jul 2 05:50:30 Server kernel: usb 1-7: input irq status -75 received ### [PREVIOUS LINE REPEATED 37639 TIMES] ### Jul 2 06:30:39 Server kernel: usb 1-7 Could it be the Unraid USB as I am using one of these on the USB header https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B000IV6S9S I can remove this is just plug in the back of the IO shield if it is this but currently have parity check running. bally12345
Found a similar thread and it looks like could possibly be usb from ups but will be moving my unraid usb to as seeing flashback up in the logs too. Sent from my SM-G991B using Tapatalk Quote Link to comment
MAM59
had this too the other day. Its the UPS. Pull out the cable, wait a second and put it back in. This will help for a day or two. The fix for a permanent solution is to disable UNRAID's UPS daemon and install the NUT app instead. This shows the same error now and then (very rare) but resets the port and therefor recovers (no permanent log filling). Quote Link to comment
bally12345
Couldn't get the NUT to detect UPS, admittedly its a cheapo amazon basics unit but is enough to shutdown server safely. Quote Link to comment

I have also Amazon Basics UPS, NUT works. Don't use autodetect, try these settings: Should result into: 1 Quote Link to comment
