July 13, 20232 yr My UnRAID logs keep populating with these lines, nonstop. Does anyone know why or how I can address this? July 13, 20232 yr If you are on 6.12.x, please upgrade to 6.12.3-rc3 as it has updates to networking that could affect this: https://forums.unraid.net/bug-reports/prereleases/unraid-os-version-6123-rc3-available-r2572/ If the issue continues, please provide diagnostics from 6.12.3-rc3

I just went through this process and I'm still getting the `No network interfaces found` lines in my logs. Here's the diagnostics output from 6.12.3 (Stable) unraid-diagnostics-20230715-2053.zip
July 16, 20232 yr You are getting call traces related to macvlan, please see the known issues section of the 6.12.0 release notes: https://docs.unraid.net/unraid-os/release-notes/6.12.0#known-issues Also, if I'm reading your syslog correctly it looks like you have a Realtek RTL8168h/8111h NIC. You may benefit from these 3rd party drivers: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/141349-plugin-realtek-r8125-r8168-and-r8152-drivers/
July 19, 20232 yr Author ljm42, Thanks for the recommendations! I'm switching to ipvlan and looking into that driver now. Out of curiosity, how can I confirm whether that's the NIC on my hardware? It's headless, so I can't check the BIOS.
July 19, 20232 yr Author OK, I went through the process of switching to ipvlan and installed the plugin you reccomended. I'm still getting the nmbd errors 4 times per second. July 19, 20232 yr Hmm, just to simplify the system, try removing Tailscale and then please provide updated diagnostics
July 25, 20232 yr Author @ljm42 Sorry again for the late response. I'm not getting email notifications when there are thread responses, so I missed this. Here's the diagnostic output after: - Removing the Tailscale plugin - Restarting the server Thanks again for your help! unraid-diagnostics-20230725-1042.zip
July 25, 20232 yr Solution These error messages come from 'netbios' I recommend to disable netbios and use WSD instead for host discovery. See Settings -> SMB settings

See Settings -> SMB settings Hmm, that does appear to have stopped the problem. Are there any potential concerns/lossed functionality asssociated with disabling netbios? Thanks for the help!!
