However I do not know where they belong. The cache drive is being read now but vm's and dockers are not found. Quote Link to comment

The lost+found files/folders are those where the repair process cannot find the directory entries to give them the correct name. It takes manual inspection to determine what they used to be. Normally easier to restore from backups. Quote Link to comment
