Can't replace key

Featured Replies

Hi

I try to reactivate my unraid server but it does not work. My old usb stick is gone, and I have only my pro.key file.

So create a new stick copy my pro.key file and start the array.

I tried to renew the the licence (Tools->Registration Button Replace Key) but I get an error:

Error: {"message":["guid must be longer than or equal to 27 characters"],"error":"Bad Request","statusCode":400}

I can't login with my original e-mail address to the forum. Adresse of registration: [email protected]

Any help?

Regards

Robert

Seems like a problem with the GUID  of the new flash drive.

What brand is it. Does it have a unique GUID?

Raise a support case via contacts.  https://unraid.net/contact

Same drama here.
It doesn't' pick up the GUIDs in the pop up either.
Waiting for support.

Make sure you got an immediate automated acknowledgement when you tried to contact support.    For some reason this has not always been happening.

yes I have received that one, thank you.

Also having the same issue, opening a support ticket now.

EDIT: Marked ticket as resolved

I was able to work around my issue by doing 2 x things, not sure which one was it. But first I tried in Firefox, which had no sessions cookies already, so was a fresh login. When I went to Replace Key, I had to log into my unraid account and give a fresh 2 factor code. After logging in here, I was able to see both ID's and everything went smooth from there.

I can confirm this works. Thanks.

It definitely has an issue with Chromium based browsers AND 2FA not enabled.
I am not surprised about the latter.

Yeah, you guys are right.

After set up MFA (didn't have enabled it before) and relooging the whole process, it worked.

Thank you for the hint!

I was able to recreate this issue. It's definitely a Chromium based issue. I'm working on a solve for this.

In the mean time Firefox or another non-Chromium based browser should be an alternative solution.

Chromium fix has been deployed to the account.unraid.net site.
