RADIatiON
Hi, I'm trying to update my backup/testing server from 6.11.5 to the latest 6.12.6 and I'm getting an error message "boot device shows 348917760 free but upgrade needs 451064841" How big do the flash drives need to be now? There are probably a few flash drives around here I could swap over and use. (The current one is probably 10 years or more old). Thanks for any thoughts. Quote Link to comment
Solution trurl Posted January 26 Solution Share Posted January 26 https://docs.unraid.net/unraid-os/getting-started/ I would double that 2GB mentioned since upgrade from the webUI requires new version to coexist with everything already on the flash drive including the previous version. 1 Quote Link to comment
RADIatiON
Thanks. Would be nice if the update could download to the Cache or something and then upgrade from there... but I get it. "640K ought to be enough for anybody" 😜 Quote Link to comment

itimpi
The Manual upgrade process should still work as that does not require there to be enough room on the flash to hold both the current and the previous release. Quote Link to comment
