shensw
Hi, sorry for the noob question, I just setup my new system, and all the shares are showing unprotected, I'm wondering if that that's due to I don't have a parity disk? I understand that shares on cache without redundancy are considered to be unprotected. but does that also apply to shares on the Array? I'm trying to move all the data over from my old PC to unraid, then put in the parity disk, but I want to make sure things are setup correctly before copying the data. shensw
Thanks for the quick reply, I'd assume once the parity disk is in and finish it's check job, the Array shares should turn to green, right? Edited March 2 by shensw 1 Quote Link to comment
